Funwhole Western Sheriff's-Office Lighting Building-Bricks Set, 1240 Pcs

For the record, I own and have built, far more real Lego sets and MOC's than most. I "used to be" a strong Lego purist. Recently, however, Funwhole has changed this whole dynamic. They are amazing! First of all, they do not "rip off" genuine Lego sets or published MOC's. Instead, they come up with their own sets and even specific parts. ...and these parts are of EXCELLENT quality, as good, or better, than Lego bricks. Furthermore their instructions are top-notch, printed with accurate, vibrant colors. And all of this is just the beginning! As opposed to Lego, that just provides shallow fronts to buildings, Funwhole's buildings are generally 3x as deep and enclosed on all sides, making them perfectly realistic. These outsides are incredibly well detailed and all feature hinged portions to reveal even more detailed interiors. Though I build them as static models, their playability for any child is without peer. And did I mention that all of their sets are lighted?!? ...and over HALF the price of Lego! So here it is in summary... With Funwhole, you get at least twice as many bricks, buildings 3x bigger (and enclosed), awesome playability and a FREE built in light kit for less than HALF the amount charged by the major brand. I am completely sold. One final note just to emphasize how great they are... they even provide a small metal screwdriver (for opening the battery box) AND a pair of metal tweezers to safely remove the lighting electrical connections without damaging the wires. Who does that?!?

I really love this set! With The Big L company not making any Western sets this definitely appealed to me. It's got an amazing design, looks great, has nice playability with the swing open back (yet still modular) and has some really interesting part usage. When I got it on sale it felt like a steal. I did have some hiccups with it being delivered at the wrong time and getting messed up badly, but the process to get it replaced was very fast and I was satisifed with the result. I also loved the amount of cool printed pieces like wanted posters and such, no stickers is always a good sign. The instructions were very clear, dare I say even better than the more famous brand with the way it often showed both a side and top down view of tricky part installations And used a red highlight to show where the parts were which was very helpful to someone like me who is colorblind and has trouble distinguishing some of the more similar colored pieces. My only minor complaints would be that I wish there was an adaptor to use usb or a corded connection to light it, I hate battery packs personally. I also had a very hard time putting together the hands and arms on the "minifigures" maybe having them come put together, at least the torsos (legs were fine to put together) would be beneficial.

Honestly this brand is better than most Lego sets. The details, lights, and scenery make it very enjoyable. Not only is this brand affordable but getting all the sets on the theme is too much fun. If this was a Lego set this would probably be 400$ but this brand has the exact same quality! I would highly recommend to anyone who can’t afford Lego brand but wants something just as better. I personally bought all the western sets and it looks awesome.

This is an awesome set. This brand is better price than LEGO and the printed pieces just make it a must have. I had no missing pieces and it looks great. These set are compatibility with LEGO and have a lot of great detail in them. It was also an easy assemble. I currently have over 16 set from this brand and can't wait to buy more. Their sets also come with light kit a bonus for the price.

For those who don't know Funwhole: They're becoming the new Lego, with better designs, way better prices, and themes that both hardcore brick builders and casual newcomers can enjoy. All their newer sets use prints instead of stickers, and all the sets come with integrated lights. Brick quality is almost always top shelf, too, though there's a rare glitch with this set: a good number of the tiles are visibly scuffed. That happens with all brands, including Lego, to one degree or another, but it's unusually obvious here. That's unfortunate and not typical of Funwhole. It's hardly a deal breaker, and any little scratches do fit the rugged, Old West theme well, but in fairness, it must be noted. As for the set itself, it's a solid design with a good level of detail. Not Funwhole's best, but their best stuff is next level and makes Lego look pretty sad and dull. This one is attractive and a godsend for Old West fans (Lego has forgotten us the same way they largely ignore Space and Castle fans), and the value is totally there, with so many pieces for such a low price, the lights and prints, the side builds, the four figures with accessories... It just doesn't have that extra edge in detail or cleverness that makes the best Funwhole sets so amazing.. Overall, a solid set. Not my first pick from Funwhole, but you'll definitely want it if creating an Old West town with their other sets in the series.

Been building many many Lego sets these past couple years with/for my 8 year old, and I’ve only recently started buying more of the alternative brands, looking for cheaper Lego alternatives or new variety. In the past the quality of many of these brands was usually really lacking in terms of the prices/fit/instructions. We got this one because it was reasonably priced and the reviews were good. I almost never write reviews, but I found myself saying wow this is great to myself and aloud several times during the build. The quality is pretty comparable to Lego in feel and fit, and the instructions were super detailed and excellent, possibly even better because of multiple views for trickier steps. The added lighting effects are also very cleverly done. Except for the glossy sheen of the pieces, which doesn’t bother us, it’s an impressive set. Will definitely get more from this brand. No missing pieces. Had a few left over at the end.

Amazing Lego set!!! Also, FANTASTIC customer service. One of the wires for the lights broke when my son was putting it together. I followed the instructions that were included for missing or replacement parts, send an email with some pictures, and about a week later, we were mailed the part we needed! It was so easy! And all the lights and details of this Lego set are so fun! My son definitely enjoyed building it and we look forward to purchasing more sets from the Funwhole company!

This is my favorite looking set out of all the Old West sets, but I may be biased as I love whenever they use Sand Blue or Sand Green bricks. This is one of their older sets so they do pinch wires quite a bit. No stickers, only the Saloon has stickers from the Old West sets. Also the panels that open in the back don't have stoppers so they can go in a bit. This was an easy fix by just putting two plates inside on the ceiling to stop them from going in. I never take points away for these because they clearly learned and made massive improvements in later sets and I still recommend it. Would have loved a horse since they have the feeders in the front, but they do have a horse missing poster so I guess it makes sense.

Built this over 3 sessions. Tons of fun, and looks really nice. The pieces are high quality in terms of durability, color and clutch power. Indistinguishable from Lego (and I've been building Lego for over 10 years). Really interesting design and super nice packaging and instruction booklet. Comes with tweezers and an LED kit, which is better than lego kits. I loved this so much, I bought 5 other sets from Funwhole. Amazing value for money! 5/5 stars!!!

I was skeptical about purchasing a set that was not LEGO brand, but LEGO stopped selling their western line (Lone Ranger) years ago and my 7 year old is really into the western world right now. I ordered this set (and the saloon and carriage sets) and I can say with 100% confidence that this is worth every penny. I would also say that it’s almost better quality than Lego brand. The instructions are easier to follow and I love that they often show side and aerial views so that you can ensure proper placement of bricks before moving on. I was intimidated by the wiring but it’s actually so easy to follow. Pieces aren’t falling off easily with play. While it says 16+, I definitely think this is a project that 10+ could enjoy (if they have some experience) along with guidance from an adult. Anytime there was an error or I thought it was missing a piece, it was my fault (used a wrong piece somewhere else, didn’t notice I tucked a bag off to the side, etc.) I will definitely be ordering more sets!!

I have just finished building the Sheriff's Office and was so pleased with the outcome that I will also purchase the Saloon very soon. 1240 pieces that fit together the best I have yet experienced, over the many non-Lego sets, I have built. I feel that the price of the set, along with the integrated lights, were great value for your money. The box was nice and large, so the manual was not bent or folded, which is one of my biggest pet peeves on some of the cheaper options. The manual seemed super easy to follow, and liked that sometimes it would show you a 'birds eye' view of the piece placement. Yep, it is a fiddly build, with lots of small pieces, particularly when you're placing the lights. My fingers and thumbs are a little dry from completing the model. All the pieces were present and all the lights worked as they should. The battery box takes three AAA batteries (not supplied), but you do get a USB lead to connect the junction box, to also run power continuously if you want! I am very impressed with this set and Funwhole have definitely earned a five star rating on this model, which I don't give often!

Must buy for 12 year old boy. He is obsessed.

A long-time Lego fan but figured I would give this brand a try since lego prices are now way too much and I link the western theme and look of the modular building. Build was fun and the quality of the bricks is as good or better than Lego. Light kits are also a bonus and the instructions are clear. Already odered several more sets.
