I've had this battery for six months or more, and I can honestly say I never know which battery - this one, or the original - is on the camera. They perform equally well and I can't tell the difference. Given the cost of the branded version, this is incredible. There is not a good reason for paying the extra.I'm pretty sure I've heard scare stories about non-branded batteries giving problems, or even damaging the camera. I can't speak for all the batteries out there but this one won't hurt your camera at all. I guess there are some knock-offs that are not well built but I would also suspect Panasonic like to keep you on-brand because they are charging an arm and a leg.As far as this one goes, it's a no-brainer, and when I need another I will be coming back for another of these.

Works well all good

I used this on holiday and can honestly say that it did its job extremely well.Once fully charged it lasted for quite a long time before needing to be recharged.Good value for money.

Have been using this battery for over six months now with no problem. Save a lot of money compare with the original battery. Just remember after charging it, remove the battery from the camcorder and replace it again , otherwise it show on the battery indicator as flat battery!!

This is an amazing product, battery lasted 5 days on holiday with using the light, loads of recording zooming etc. This was my third one, had 4 in case, used 1 and a half's worth.I really can't believe how long it lasted.

Great little battery at reasonable cost

battery came and did not fit my camcorder , was going to send it back but after watching a YouTube video , I found this battery has an extra tag on it , this battery has 4 tags and my original battery has 3, so I cut of the little plastic tag of the bottom of the battery and it now fits perfectly and lasts far longer than my original battery.I might buy another.YouTube video tip 5 stars.
