Terrific Addition to Your Camping Gear
This is a great addition to our camping gear! The drawstring bag neatly packages the five tent stakes, lightweight mallet, paracord, broom and dustpan for easy transport. Although not something I'd carry long distance backpacking when weight is a premium consideration, this kit is terrific for car camping or day treks from the trailhead to camping spot. I was surprised to discover the mallet was both functionally strong & lightweight. I was also impressed with the slim profile of the broom & dustpan -- perfect to get the job done & easy to pack. For those interested, here are the weights I recorded for the kit (in ounces): Bag 0.4; Mallet 5.9; broom & dustpan 2.5; 5 tent stakes 1.9; paracord 1.4.

Compact tent supply kit
I recently purchased the TNH Outdoors tent kit to accompany my new purchase of the new 2 person tent by TNH Outdoors. I received the extra tent paracord, the mini dust pan and broom, the plastic mallet, and lightweight, red TNH tent stakes. The carrying bag is the signature green colored bag from TNH and the materials easily were put in and taken out of the bag, leaving room for a few other items like tape seam and waterproofing agents. I was sceptical about the plastic mallet, but after trying it outside, was pleasantly surprised! I typically use a rubber mallet to hammer my stakes in the ground, or the back side of my hatchet. I’m eager to put it to use on my next trip up north, and see how it handles anchoring stakes in the hard, often cobble filled earth where I hunt and camp. Great idea and product execution, TNH!

Good basic essentials tent kit
I like the light yet durable single-piece mallet providing less chance of failure/separation. the five stakes are good quality with glow-in-the-dark pull loops. I would suggest including 6 or more in an even number though as most instances require an even number of them. Also, a slightly longer stake would be nice. The cord is small in diameter yet strong enough for most camp needs. After shining a flashlight on the cord for a few seconds, I had an intense glow-in-the-dark luminescence lasting for well over an hour. The broom and pan are lightweight and space-savingly thin but enough to get the job done. There remains plenty of room in the sack to add your own additional items.

Nice little kit
I'm already a fan of these tent stakes so getting more is never a bad thing in my books. The hammer is deceivingly heavy for a plastic hammer. It is also stronger than I would have expected. We will see how it holds up over time. I like that it all comes in a nice little bag to keep it together and the little broom kit works well for small messes tracked into the tent.Cons: I'd like to see a hook on the bottom of the hammer to more easily grab stakes out of the ground.-The hammer could be shorter (place for improvement or make the kit a bit smaller)-The broom bristles could be a bit stiffer.

Super handy kit and well worth the money!
This little kit is awesome! I already purchased a set of the TNH aluminum tent stakes in the past so I was happy to get a few more as they work great. The hammer was probably the biggest surprise in this set. At first glance you might not think much of it, but it has decent weight to the head and with the long handle you have plenty of leverage to effortlessly drive tent stakes into the ground. It seems much heavier duty than what I was expecting it to be. The broom and dust pan are super handy as well for doing a quick cleanup inside the tent so as you walk around barefoot in the evening you are not constantly stepping on small rocks and piles of dirt/sand.

Certainly Not for Ground with Any Firmness To It
Was at a normal campsite at some fairgrounds for a music festival. Attempted to hammer these in with the subpar "mallet" provided. No chance of it working. Used a friend's rubber mallet, and the first stake broke in half after 2 strikes. My buddy's thick plastic stakes worked without issue, just 4 feet to the left of where I was trying, so it wasn't the ground. These may work on soft ground next to a lake or something, or may be great for a towel at the beach, but not for a tent under normal camping conditions.

That will be good for my hammock to help avoid tripping over the ...
I mainly wanted this kit for the tent stakes and rope. The rope is reflective and glows in the dark. That will be good for my hammock to help avoid tripping over the ropes at night. The stakes are light weight but sturdy and also come with reflective rope. The mallet is fairly light. Looks like it should do the job, just not sure how well it will do in rocky ground. Tent broom and dust pan is a plus as well. The bag will make it easy to keep this (and other tent necessities) packed and ready to go.

Light-Weight! & Just what I needed
I’m glad I picked this set. These items altogether are small & lightweight, but I’ve been camping enough times to tell you these are definitely sturdy enough materials. I’ve seen bigger stakes before; however, I believe there might restrictions on what you can travel on an airplane with (that could be weapon-like) and I wouldn’t worry about packing these in luggage- if flying. Also, I got this for a SMALL tent. It’s smart to have a dustpan too.
