Purdy Clearcut Glide Trim Brush, Blend, Multicolor, One Size

This Purdy Clearcut Glide 3" trim brush is excellent quality. It holds paint well, applies smoothly, and gives great control for clean, sharp lines. The bristles are firm but flexible, making cutting in much easier and more precise. I’ve used cheaper brushes before, and the difference is obvious right away. Very well made and easy to clean after use. I’m impressed enough that I’ll definitely be buying this brush in other sizes. Highly recommend for anyone doing trim or detail work.

It's definitely not the cheapest brush you could buy, but it's one of the best I've ever owned. It's easy to use, the bristles don't fall off, and it's held up very well. Purdy are a very well-known make in the DIY space, and for good reason.

I love this brush. The quality is excellent and it makes cutting in so much easier than any other brush I have tried. I'm a newbie DIYer, painting every room on my house. There is a lot of cutting in to do. I wish I had bought this brush when I started. I'm already four rooms in - walls and ceilings. I got this brush in time to do the stairs and landing - thankfully. The width of the brush, the cut of the "bristles", the long handle all combine to make this brush an excellent tool for the job. I'm now quite good at cutting in. It's the most expensive brush I have ever bought, probably 3 times the cost of the previously most expensive. It's worth every penny. Would not hesitate to recommend. It's a keeper and a looker after.

Tosh brush is very good quality and give a great result.

I didn't get on with this to start with, seemed too large and a bit awkward... but after a very large double-room with lots of elaborate ceiling mouldings and dado rails, it's now my favourite cutting-in brush. The Purdy reputation is deserved. It was just better than I was.

Gave a good finish

I've finally given in. A lot of money for a paint brush but it really is the Rolls Royce of paint brushes. Holds paint well, and give a super smooth finish.

!Update 17th may! I have thrown the brush in the paint bag. Brush bristles have lost their shape. Brush was good while it lasted. Bought this brush as it came recommended by painter Chris berry of idaho/ B &K painting on YouTube. The brush doesn't dissapoint! I been painting for a few years now and I was using a purdy 3inch xl glide elite for nearly 1 year. The bristles on this a bit stiffer but also does lay-off the paint really nicely. Defo recommend.

Muy caro pero es de buena calidad

I am duel painter, I am acrylic artist & senior housewife who does all the trim work & house painting, as well as furniture painter. Purdy is the best of the best paint brushes. My only problem is getting family to return an purdy brushes they borrow. Usually can't get them to return so I needed to buy more for us & everyone.

The best cut in brush yet, and I've tried dozens from cheap to expensive. As a result of painting my whole house, I've tried a ton of brushes. I wanted to cut in without taping since it's extremely time consuming and tiring. I went on a spending spree and purchased a variety of brushes that the pros use. Some were over $30 per brush. Many were excellent especially the Corona Excaliber. I now realize the ones I purchased were not stiff enough to give me that really straight paint line. Since I have textured walls and ceilings, I'm guessing that a stiff brush is really the only way to cut in around the varying surface texture. I purchased this brush in March of 2017 and hadn't used it. Decided to give it a try and I'm glad that I did. So there is no question about it, this is a stiff brush. But regardless, stiff or soft, I obtained outstanding results. I had a few boo boo's after rolling walls and got too close to the ceiling. Not wanting to tape, I used this brush and got to within a 1/16 of an inch of the wall and completed my touch up. It ended up being a razor sharp line. I was convinced I had to go expensive on brushes since I had tried previous Purdy brushes and couldn't get that razor sharp line. I can with these. Since I have so much to paint, and know I can get that sharp line without taping. I'm back to using Purdy brushes again.
