Fein invented this type of power tool back in the 1960's; so no surprise that this version is currently the best 350w multi-tool available.The following is a quote from the Fein web-site:"Self-supporting motor with vibration decoupling for outstanding vibration and noise reduction"Unlike a lot of marketing "promises" the above statement is absolutely true and I found the lack of noise and vibration, compared to other Multi-tools, most impressive; I also found the cutting and sanding capabilities second to none.The latest version of this power tool has a new clamping system, jointly developed with Bosch, called "Starlock" that enables "tool-less" one-handed (If accessory is laying on a flat surface) fitting of accessories; there is no additional "bolt" that has to be pushed into a hole, like the Fein QuickIN or Makita "tool-less" system which means non-slotted accessories such those for sanding can be changed without having to remove the sandpaper.This is the version of the tool I thought I was going to receive, unfortunately, although all the supplied accessories were Starlock the actual power tool had the QuickIN clamping system.I called Fein to be told that the Starlock version had been delayed to July 2016 (This was April 2016); I could not wait three months so I reluctantly returned the tool and purchased a Bosch GOP 55-36 which was available and had the Starlock Max clamping system, the Bosch has proved to be a very good tool but is not in the same class as the Fein, when it comes to vibration and noise suppression.After speaking with Fein I now know that the Starlock version has "SL" appended to the product name; so FMM350QSL is the Starlock version.

Very cool product (Tool). I purchased one of these through my project management company to use at work and it’s our favourite tool, it’s really handy as it does so many different things. So far 6 Tradespeople that have seen me using it have gone out and purchased one for themselves. The ‘againsts’ are that it’s expensive and it is ‘corded’ but then if it was cordless maybe you’d lose to much power...

So far so good - superior quality and accuracy - has already come in handy a number of times where a reciprocating saw would have been far to aggressive. Good for tight spaces etc. Original purpose for buying was to replace some floor tiles that had cracked in the middle of the dining room floor and carefully remove the grout without damaging the surrounding tiles. The carbide blade cut through the grout like butter.

What can I say about this product? The price does mean it is quite an investment, but so far I have used it several times for a variety of different tasks and have to say it has not missed a beat or struggled to make the task dare I say easy. I would highly recommend this product it's probably the best tool I have purchased.

Expensive, but you pay for what you get, the quality is evident, ive used this product to sand floors, scrap window seals, cut wood, grind paint off walls, its fantastic. The vibration is not too bad compared with other handhelds ive used. Paid for itself over my DIY escapade with the new house

husband loves it think its the best thing since sliced bread uses it all the time - cuts time doing certain jobs and makes others very easy - he loved it so much he bought another one for a friend so he too could benefit

I will keep this simple the only multitool you should ever buy . I use mine professionally and would not buy any other . Dose exactly what it's made to do . Very well made ecelent

Perfect tool and very easy to use. Should have bought one years ago.Bought the table clamp to go with it as well and that fits in the 43 mm Bosch drill stand absolutely fine.
