This coffee table book looks so nice in my living room! I love how high-end it looks and it blends in with the other decor nicely. The books itself is also great with very compelling photography from Dune (the movie). I'm a fan of the Dune series (books and films) so I really feel this adds a touch of my personality to the room.

I bought this book for my girlfriend and I. As a professional photographer I hoped she’d enjoy it, and as a fan of the books and films I knew I would. We both sat for over an hour going over the photos and picking our favorites, reading stories from the cast and poems by Josh Brolin. The photography here by Brolin and Fraser is a rare glimpse into set life and a perfect addition to any fans collection. We loved it.

In addition to being beautifully designed, written, and organized, this book is very nicely made. It's like a fabric-bound textbook. The paper is thick and extremely high quality. If you're a Dune fan, a Josh Brolin fan, or a cinema/production fan, this is hands-down a book you can't pass up. For fans of Dune, parts of this book almost read more like they were written by an actual Gurney Halleck, and then Josh Brolin just took credit. Brolin's talent as a poet REALLY shows. Absolutely worth the price! You really do get what you pay for here. That being said, I would recommend purchasing elsewhere. Amazon's current packaging practices create a real risk, as far as possible damage. This isn't a lightweight book, it's akin to a textbook in size/weight, and mine was just thrown into a larger box without any padding whatsoever. The book came shrink-wrapped, and it did arrive in good shape, but I feel like that was completely due to luck/coincidence - not Amazon. For a company that started in books, you'd think that they could package books better and avoid tumbling them all the way to their customers' doorsteps.

With some many coffee table books relating to the Dune franchise, it's difficult to choose just one book. Each book will appeal to a certain individual, whether it's the photography aspect, or concept art, etc. I chose the Exposures book, as it focuses on artsy behind-the-scene photos, from both films, and includes poetry from actor Josh Brolin. It also makes an awesome decorative coffee table book for the home.

Few books like this one. mixing the poetry of photography and literature in such a soft and intimate way. Thank you Josh, and thank you Greg. And thank you Denis for bringing Frank Herbert’s world to life in such a beautiful and thoughtful way. Forever grateful.

This book is intoxicating. The lover of poetry will be seduced, utterly. The artistic photograph seeker will be overwhelmed. With beautiful, gut wrenching images. The words on these pages will reach into you, they’ll hold you and twist you. They’ll surprise you and haunt you. The images leave you no chance to catch your breath, to find who you were a mere second ago….they will over run you. As the tear runs down your cheek and you’re thinking how can one book be so utterly beautiful, you’ll need to slam it shut! Wait a while, a minute, a day or a week, to catch your breath, to remember who you are. But then when you go back in, it’ll run you through….in the most wonderful way.
