These really work great. My neighbor has a dog extreme separation anxiety. She can not even walk away to the bathroom without her dog going crazy and the bathroom is in her room! Now, wearing this collar, my neighbor can leave her dog at home alone so she can comfortably stay alone while my friend goes to her appointments. It truly amazed me.

Our vet had suggested an adaptil collar for our 2 year old poodle. I bought a different collar this first month which worked great. I need to order another and found these collars which were a much better price than I had paid for the other collar so I ordered these. Would have been great if it had worked because these collars are supposed to last 60 days, the other was 30 days, and I got 4 of these for the price of just one of the other. Well, I guess we now know why these where so much cheaper, because they do not work. They also have a strong, weird smell.

I have been searching for ways to help calm my anxious dog and was recommended these collars by my vet. I should mention I have also started my pet on a Purina supplement called Calming Care so read this review with that in mind. I have found over 2 weeks that my pet barks less and seems to be able to actually rest without being on high alert. When he does get into barking fits it is easier to calm him down. I have not tried having company over to really push the limits of his anxiety but I am curious how he will handle it. Overall this is part of a combination I plan to continue with my best buddy and I’m glad to see some relief for the little guy.The collar itself is somewhat bulky but does not seem to cause him any discomfort. There was a strong smell to the collar after first opening it but it simmers down after a couple of days and it’s not really a bad smell to have on a dog. This particular brand is a cheaper alternative to the name brand recommended to me but seems to work well without any issues.

Heavily scented! Bout knocked me over when I opened the package! I kept for emergencies but it was stronger than a Bath & Body Works store so not using on a daily!

My Beagle lab mix has been a anxious mess for the past year and a half so I tried this in a effort to calm her and there's a major change in her behavior since she's had one of these one. She's a lot more comfortable with company and doesn't whine when she wants exercise instead calming walks up with her toy where as she used to just shove it at you no matter how much you had already interacted with her. I'm very satisfied with the results and recommend for fellow anxious dog owners.

I debated if I should write this, but I feel that dog owners should know. I have a reactive Doodle and I bought these collars to help with his barking and anxiety. At first, I thought the strong smell was from the shampoo his groomer was using because the first collar did not have a pungent odor. I put a new collar on after his grooming visit and after she changed the brand of shampoo which did not help the overbearing strong odor problem as it continued for a few days.I had started to feel lethargic, slept constantly, was depressed and sad all the time. I had no energy and was not my normal jovial self. This past week he was groomed, and the third collar was put on and WOW, the odor set off an allergic reaction and I was sick, nauseous and tired constantly. It was so strong that it made me sick. I removed the collar and tossed it in the trash.I really wanted the collars to work and never dreamed it would affect me the way it did.
