The best thing about this bag compared to all others is that it has a waterproof zipper closure. All other bags only have a velcro closure at the top. The other bags you have to roll the top in order to keep the water out. Why does this make such a big difference.#1 Waterproof zipper is much more better at keeping water out just than velcro. With the Velcro top if you don't roll it then water is coming in.#2 If you decide not to roll the top the bag remains twice as large than a rolled bag allowing for so much more room.

Quality was great and it did what I needed it to do which was to keep my tent and spare gear dry while riding my motorcycle from Michigan to Alaska and back.I typically folded it twice from the top and then used the buckles and straps to keep it closed. Many bags want three folds and I wasn’t sure if that’s what was recommended for this one.

I use these on my R1250GSA panniers to pack all my clothes. The panniers can then be used for everything else. The outside mesh pockets are useful for my wife to keep snack and sunglasses and stuff while on the back of the bike :-)

My main purpose for this was using it as a beach bag to keep electronics, towels, and clothes dry during downpours at south Florida beaches. Used it for first time yesterday and it definitely kept all our stuff dry in a deluge of rain. Highly recommend!

While the ad says this bag is waterproof - it is NOT. It is water resistant. The zipper is not a waterproof scuba type zipper. I wanted to use this bag for rafting, which requires it to be waterproof so if the raft flips in a rapid and my gear is submerged for a length of time my gear (clothes, sleeping bag, etc) doesn't get wet. To check this out before rafting with it - I filled the bag with clothes, got it tightened up as much as possible per the instructions, and then submerged it in a water filled laundry sink for a short period of time. When I opened the bag (after toweling the water off the outside of the bag) there was a lot of wet clothes!

I used this on a long motorcycle trip, had heavy rain and not one drop of water inside the bag, wish I ordered a larger size , but very happy with the purchase, equivalent Harley bag cost $300 . Saved me a lot of money.

I only made this purchase because it was 30L. The snap locks don't work with other MC bags. This is big problem! The bags do work as designed. I do love the zipper and reflectors. Go to use on the seat for slimmer bikes.

This is a high quality product. The bag material is thick and obviously waterproof. It has a roll down opening which covers the zipper opening completely.The D rings are plastic but sufficiently robust to securely fasten the bag to the tailpiece of my sports bike.The wide straps are excellent quality.
