I purchased the Jounjip Deadbolt Keyless Entry Door Lock three months ago, hoping for a hassle-free, secure solution. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.First off, the installation was incredibly complex. I had to pay for professional help to get it set up, adding to the already hefty price tag of around $110. Once installed, the issues began almost immediately.The first major flaw is that you must input the combination to lock the door from the outside. This design choice is utterly impractical and inconvenient. Locking the door should be quick and straightforward, not a time-consuming process.After just two months, the lock became very stiff and challenging to use. It now takes 3-4 tries to unlock the door, which is unacceptable for a product of this price range. The reliability and ease of use have diminished drastically, leaving me frustrated every time I use it.Due to these persistent issues, I had to replace the lock entirely. I cannot recommend the Jounjip Deadbolt Keyless Entry Door Lock based on my experience. Save your money and look for a more reliable and user-friendly alternative.

They really should have written somewhere that you need to put combo in to lock it, all the other locks I've seen don't have that, and I find it extremely annoying. I tried to return it, but I already drilled the holes for it, and the other lock I bought didn't cover the holes, so now I'm stuck with it.But overall, a simple good easy lock.

Lock feels strong but one unacceptable and very annoying feature that you cannot lock the door on the outside without inputting code. Seems very extra tedious to do on your way out of your home to stop and enter code to lock the door. Customer service stated that there’s no option to change this feature. Will return and shop elsewhere.

First, the lock functions and looks great. As a deterrent, you can do no better. It looks intimidating to any would-be robber, and the included instructions are the best I'v seen on any lock and I have numerous non-regular deadbolts around the house. So, kudos for making installation hassle-free.For my use case, I had to take it down due to another device I have that prevents lock-picking which then placed my previous lock's security ability ahead of this one, but this is a pure anecdotal case and not too many people will fall into that camp. One note: you're installing this on an external door (outside your house, etc.) someone would have a harder time cracking this deadbolt than the digital one I have inside the house. It takes even the experts a bit of time cracking mechanical locks. If its indoors, you'll have to consider whether someone knows you have a mechanical lock, in which case they may have check on how to crack one, which I won't mention here. All security is crackable, so that's not a knock on the product, whatsoever. We do what we can do. I may place this one on the exterior instead, as it definitely has its place in a multi-faceted approach to home security. Product recommended.

This nice looking (Satin Chrome), alloy steel Dead Bolt (2024 upgrade) in IMPRESSIVE.It's a good weight (about 2.5 lbs), weather resistant, NO BATTERIES required. It has 1 deadbolt keypad with combination lock AND 1 deadbolt secondary body.It comes with large booklet of instructions, ALL hardware included and if necessary, Tech Support, to guide you via phone.It wasn't hard to install but it took some time to install because I'm not all that savvy when it comes to this kind of install..however, my adult son installed it after reading the directions rather quickly.What really stands out is, NO KEYS, NO BATTERIES.Claims that it can have over 3500 possible combinations.This JOUNJIP brand deadbolt lock is another layer of Peace Of Mind for me...especially when home alone.It is very sturdy and durable and STRONG.ALL of this for a very good price.Very affordable. I installed this on my back door leading into the garage.I am so glad it is ALL season and ALL weather lock.
