Great product, the water in my 20-gallon-long betta sorority tank was crystal clear after a day of running, and after a week I had to remove my algae eaters for lack of food. The flow is too strong for my bettas, so I pointed the water spout towards the glass - problem solved.HOWEVER: one of my beloved bettas got sucked into the slots for the filter intake and died a pretty horrible death 💔 I’ll be keeping the filter (I’ve zap strapped some filter sponge to the intake and covered the whole filter in a stocking) and still give it 5 stars for being effective, but feel I must warn others about the potential dangers of using this filter with smaller fish.

I bought this for my 10 gallon and it worked great, especially for the price. It’s very easy to clean and I’ve had it for over a year. I bought a second one when I set up my second 10 gallon and I recommend it to all my friends.

I bought this to get rid of algae bloom in a 20 gallon. Did so in a few days . It now keeps water immaculately clear in a 9 gallon beta tank. Easy to clean. Use submerged or not. My beta sleeps on it.

I love the look of this product. It provides quiet filtration and adds the "wave" effect to my tank.

I don't like receiving a used product when I paid for brand new. Packaging was sloppy and the item itself has sand on it.
