It works. I mean, a wing-nut is a wing-nut. It functions as intended. I wish the assortment wasn't lopsided. While I would have definitely appreciated an equal distribution of 1/4 X 20 , 5/16 x 18, and 3/8 x 16, I can understand where there are those that use the 1/4 x 20 more than they do the rest. The very best thing I can say about these is when, not if...when...they fall under the vehicle, or in an area you cannot possibly reach, you can use your Old Reliable Telescoping Magnet to retrieve them. Let's see you try that trick with Stainless Steel!!! There are applications for Stainless Steel, without a doubt. But, Stainless Steel is not the optimum solution for anything and everything. I love these Carbon-Steel, Zinc-Plated Wing-Nuts. I would definitely buy them again. I would double down if there was an even-split between the 3 offerings.

I was needing metal wingnuts for my cat's kennels to be airline approved. These were perfect and a good deal for the price paid

Didn't receive 22 pieces as the package says. There's only 16 pieces. Not sure if this was a return item that someone took some out.
