This was bought out of desperation after trying other products and old wives tales, to keep the neighbours cat from using our yard as its own ensuite, i had been trying for months and this worked immediately, its been about 3 months since I bought product and its still working and on its first set of batteries, I only have a small yard so not much traffic to trigger it, its been one if my best buys in the last 12 months, as everyday coming home and seeing the cat had been again was getting a bit too much for my anger levels,

Had a HUGE fox problem, but after a couple of weeks using this....no more holes dug in my garden, no more fox poop either.No unwanted guests have been in my garden since putting this there.Happy days (and nights.lol.)

It didn't deter the cats

This unit was sold as battery's included this is not the fact there are no batteries included so to my mind this was missold.

I have had several of this type of cat deterrent in the past and this one is good value for the money. I have had it a couple of months and it does indeed seem to be weather proof (previous expensive one stopped working every time it rained!). The main disadvantage is that it doesn't have an off switch which in my case would mean that the batteries would ran down rapidly when I am out in the garden. I have managed this by turning it to face fence or by putting a pot over the top...a minor inconvenience for me but worth considering when buying. It does seem to train the couple of neighbours cats to keep away as I have still had no fouling when on occasions I have forgotten to turn it to face the garden again!!. The cats tend to walk round on top of the fence rather than walk through...I do only have a small garden though!

Great product in that it seems to work to discourage cats. However, it is not waterproof and after a few months fills with water and stops working permanently. Impossible to get any kind of refund or replacement

It’s early days but already had one incident of the next door’s cat ‘spraying’ in our garden. It seemed not to linger as previous but still wasn’t expecting the spray!
