This is a basic door draft stopper from a trusted brand. It's weighted to stay in place and has convenient loops for hanging on a doorknob. It helps prevent light, sound, and cold drafts from coming through the door. It's reasonably priced and does the job. If you are looking for a standard draft stopper, this should meet your needs.

... flexible enough to do a really good job. About a half foot more length, and a more flexible build would result in a really nice product, but unfortunately such is not the case. When I remove this, it takes another blanket or something wrapped around it to make a good seal and cover the ends of the door. Can't see how it would have been that big of a deal to add a few inches and a few beans (or plastic shot, or whatever) to add some length and flexibility. I got this to use in my laundry room to muffle the sounds of the dryer and it works well for that. We have a newer home so we don't need this for draft protection but it would work well for that as it's a nicely weighed down and large enough to block even larger door gaps at the bottom. Grab one for light, noise, or wind reduction and I think for the cost its a great value and a great solution for various home uses.

Might I suggest that you actually measure your door instead of assuming that it’s a standard width? Our front and back entrance doors are both wider than 36” though we have a side deck door that is 36” inches that this can be used for.The dark gray color is pretty unobtrusive- which I appreciate. It’s not terribly heavy; it seems to be filled with a dense fiberfill with pockets of beads or sand primarily at the ends. This does a good job of stopping the noticeable draft along the bottom of our door. This won’t work for doors that are both under 36 inches and recessed because it can’t be tightly bent or shaped around a corner and would result in a gap in the corners.Overall this is a fairly standard draft stopper that seems to work well as advertised.

I have an unfinished basement in my house. The door to it does not really have a frame so there is a large gap across the bottom. A few hours after placing this over the gap, it was noticeably warmer in that area.Before using this, I recommend hanging it up somewhere for a few hours. This will help it lay flat against the door. It comes coiled up in the package and it wants to retain that shape for a while.It would be helpful if it were a hair longer, as it will cover most standard door frames, but it might not go to the outside of the gap you're trying to cover, depending on your door frame. Either way, it's way better than nothing and the price is good for what you get.

This Duck Brand Weighted Door Draft Stopper is about a quarter inch short, but the usable width is even less than that since cold air comes in from the sides. It would work for a shorter door, but is unfortunately too short for my 36” front door.I also thought it would be a little more weighted. It has sand in three places (both ends and the middle) to hold it in place, and otherwise is filled with some sort of soft, lightweight stuffing. It might be heavy enough to do the job if it were also a little longer, but my husband is skeptical. I do like the loops on each end to hang it from the door knob while not in use, and the overall quality of stitching and materials is good.

This is the second door draft stopper I have ordered and compared to my previous one, this seems too light to really sit snug against my door. There seems to be some cold air still coming in from around this draft stopper. My other draft stopper weighs more and because of the weight sits more snug. I think if this weighed another pound heavier it would be more effective.
