Love The Person You're With: Life-Changing Insights from the Most Compelling Near-Death Experiences Ever Recorded

DO NOT BUY. MONEY WASTED
This entire book is terrible. I think the author completely fabricated the stories. One story talks about a NDE where when the person was going through a "life review," a time when he was a boy and he was carrying a load of water to heavy for him. Because of the, he as a boy, decided to give some of the water to a near by tree. Heaven celebrated for that. Seriously...that's not even biblical. There are many times in the bible where trees and plants were destroyed. Those trees that were destroyed were actually used to give God glory. In other words God used those dead trees for his will. I can think off the top of my head where Jesus actually killed a tree and told it to wither and there were times when a king of Israel destroyed trees to build a temple. Besides the point, people are so much more important then plants. Sure trees and plants are good, in fact in Genesis taking care of the planet was God's mandate to humans, but there is no way trees have feelings or that they're even close to alive. Plants were given to us for our consumption. Even animals are given to humans for our consumption. Bad book, unbiblical theology points out how these are not real NDE's.

Helpful for Living and Dying
I've studied near death experiences since 1979, when I wanted to prepare my dying father for the afterlife. David has synthesized some of the most respected near death experiences in the field, and organized it beautifully. I believe that the best way to help people prepare for their passing is to read about NDEs, hopefully before they get sick. They also teach us how to live, and what is truly meaningful. I have already referred it to several friends.

An inspirational antidote for what ails humanity. The daily headlines are a flash in the pan... Love still rules the universe.
Filled with moving and diverse stories reported by those who have had a NDE - moving, thoughtful and inspiring. The excerpted stories within provide an opportunity for each of us to change our own attitudes and responses - without having an NDE. The weblink that follows each story links to in-depth video interviews in which those who experienced an NDE share more deeply. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in or is searching for - the ultimate purpose of life.

What a worthy book! These stories are fascinating guideposts ...
What a worthy book! These stories are fascinating guideposts for those of us who haven't been through that doorway. I keep them in mind daily, to remind me of what's most important.

But it is still a good book.
OK book...wasn't what I was expecting. It is more short snippets from people's NDE experiences. I was looking for more in-depth stories. But it is still a good book.

Excellent source for those wanting to explore NDEs.
This book includes a powerful resource section, including links to videos of interviews with people who have experienced NDEs . I found the information to be loving and true. For anyone who is struggling to integrate an NDE into their life after the event this will guide you along your path.

lose your fear of dying
David is an authority on NDE's and he's selected examples from some of those that really moved him to compile this book for the novice and student alike

these stories included in this work are some of the best experiences that have been recorded by the NDE community.
I loved the book and was sad when it ended. I could have just kept going. David did a wonderful job choosing the stories to use and then bringing all together into a cohesive understanding. Kudos to you David, for your work. Thank you.Bevin McCabe

Please avoid! Money wasted.
I love NDE stories. I have experienced many things myself that are out of this world, including having multiple voluntary out of body experiences aka astral projections that took me to different realms (learnt how to from Robert Monroe books), so I was looking forward to read this particular kindle book. How disappointed I was to find that in his book chapters after a few introductory paragraphs Mr. Sunfellow, the author, just drops a link to his website where you need to go through a list of names of people he mentions in the relevant chapter, and after finally finding the name in question you need to click on it, which takes you to yet another website where you meant to read the actual story, written by an NDE person themselves.Except that you don't. Above is a screenshot of 404 page I ended up with whilst trying to read one of the stories. Basically this book is made of short descriptions with a bunch of links to unrelated to author websites and videos, that may or may not be there a few years later.I usually cut my losses loose when I come across some badly written book, but in this case I will ask Amazon for a full refund as I feel simply conned in this instance. Considering how sensitive and important NDE abs Afterlife topic is I find it unbelievable that Mr. Sunfellow can step this low to charge people for a glorified list of hypelinks he put together and called it a "book".

Okay
I was a little disappointed as I like the NHNE website and the research that has gone into it. The book draws on a lot of old stories and commentaries and it's really a compendium of these rather than original work.

A much needed book on the spirituality aspect of NDE's
Much has been written on this subject but little from this perspective. This is a unique book by one of the web's longest serving and most knowledgeable spirituality writers. Also refreshing to read an NDE book that doesn't devote any of it's space to arguing with sceptics.
