My dad loved this for Christmas, he said very brand and so comfortable.Also very fast delivery.

Using MIG. It is not fast enough to protect your eyes, not on any setting. You will see arc for a fraction of a second before it darkens. I was working in a confined space and I couldn't use my other shield, so I had to remember to shut my eyes for that fraction of a second, and that was a reasonable workaround for light use. I couldn't use this all day long. Also it's way too dark for MIG (might be OK for stick).On the plus side, it is very compact. Reasonable build quality for a hobby item, at this price anyway.

Brilliant bit of kit, changes the way you look at welding.

Great mask this. Works really well. You have to get the tension right in the flip-up ratchet, else it keeps falling down which can be annoying when setting up for a weld. Otherwise, great helmet.
