It's not super easy to use - but if you can get it to work, you'll save your stuck lure. Works best when the line is steep to slide down. Keep the line taught, and jiggle your rod and the the save-a-lure- will descent to the lure, snag it, and you can pull it to freedom! Mine has already paid for itself.

First, there is no chord with this product, you are expected to provide it yourself. Second, the tiny hooks will do great hooking to a bulky swivel or clasp, but will more than likely slip right past the eye of a fishing hook. Thirdly, it is actually pretty light in nature, being made of aluminum. This means that any hopes of dislodging your lure by simply knocking it go out the window. Long story short, if you are a power fisher, this might work, if you fish finess, you may want something else.
