Wonderful! Folds/unfolds easily! Great value!
Love that it collapses, I love my strait white can, but this one is fantastic! My O & M trainer gave me a round ball which makes this cane amazing! I love that I can just fold it up and put in my purse and not have to worry about it. For someone like me that has started losing their sight, this cane makes everything so much easier. It is very sturdy and so easy to change the tip, my O & M trainer says this is one of the best folding canes she has seen!

Passed the ultimate test!
Worked well. Took it on a hard first run on the streets of New York City. Good roll flow, easy to fold when getting in crowded areas. Would definitely buy again.

Sturdy cane for Blind
I gave this as a gift to a blind friend. He loved it and said it was good quality. He immediately threw his old cane away and started used his new cane. Love the tip on bottom of cane.

Good Cane, Bad Cord
This is a good white cane. A couple of weeks ago, I would have said it was flimsy, but the white cane I’m using now, which costs a lot more money and boasts a recognized brand name, has a similar feel and holds up well, so I’m not concerned. The cane folds into 5 segments, so it feels taller/longer than expected when it unfolds, and it has a marshmallow tip that rolls nicely. The only problem is the cord. Folding canes have a smaller loop at the bend in the cord; the smaller loop is what keeps the cane folded. This cane is like a straight cane: there’s no smaller loop at the bend in the cord, and the cord is too short to just tie a knot into (the smaller loop would be too close to one end of the cane to keep the segments together when folded). I solved that problem by creating the smaller loop with an ouchless hair tie (like a rubber band made out of elastic). I folded the rubber band over the cord, then slid one half of the rubber band through the other, and tugged (like making the fringe on a shawl, half hitch knot I think). Much to my surprise, this brand of ouchless hair tie snugged up nicely around the cord, so I don’t think it’ll come loose, and if it does, I can always put a few stitches into the knot. The hair tie is also the perfect size for holding the cane segments together. The product page for the ouchless hair tie is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IGJ1XOO?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

Easy to use for those with vision issues.
Ease of use: Very easy to fold, just wish it would stay folded with the wrist grip. Value for money: Cheaper then the canes from the Visual Impaired stores. I have one exactly like this that was much more expensive & very heavy. Functionality: Does the job & not as heavy as the ones from the Visually Impaired Stores. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am legally blind and this allows me to be able to fold it when sitting on the bus or at a chair instead of trying to find a place to lean it up against.

A word of caution
This cane appears to be well made as advertized. That being said, A WORD OF CAUTION. I purchased this as a sample to show a low vision support group, not for actual use by a legally blind person. It is VERY important that a legally blind person contact their state division of blind services or national federation for the blind to obtain training and guidelines on how to use a white cane and the proper size. Just purchasing one on line not knowing if it is the correct size and not having training on its use can be a safety hazard to the user and those around them.
