I bought these, then ended up buying the other colors too. They fit really well, especially with the drawstring. Depending on the brand of pants, I wear anything from a 32W-36W for the waist and 30L-32L for length, and I ordered these in Large.For me, they go right above the knee after the first wash. They're about mid knee when they first came in the mail. Side pockets are big enough for a modern smartphone. My iPhone 6s Plus fit in my front pocket, along with my slim wallet, no problem. There are also two back pockets for you who put your wallet back there, though they're rather small, so you likely wouldn't be able to fit a modern smartphone back there.I especially like the cargo pockets how they're just flaps and the pockets themselves are inside the shorts, rather than outside. The flaps, by the way, are secured by a single snap fastener, not velcro or buttons. The cargo pockets themselves are rather small, probably big enough for a small phone, wallet, or keys, but for me they're just for show rather than actually carrying things. About as much pocket space as the back pockets. The flaps also make the shorts more streamlined, less baggy, and more fitting compared to other cargo shorts out there where the cargo pockets are on the outside. The tapered slim fit is really good too. The legs don't stick out a couple inches on the sides like regular fit shorts, so these make you look less dorky.Quality-wise I'd give these a pass. They had a few stray threads here and there which were easy to just cut. I haven't had any problems with ripping or seams breaking yet. The drawstrings themselves say "Cloth" on the ends, so I don't know if that's good or bad, but they've held up well over the past couple weeks of regular use.Overall, these are a great value, and have a great look, especially for the price. Wish there were more colors though.

I bought a pair of white shorts in the small size thinking that it help with a shorter length and not being baggy. These shorts are fitted correctly to size I'm waiting to get white in medium because they are made as a slim fit that will fit true to size. In medium there is some light minor firmness in the back of thighs. It's not tight just firm it's not at all restricting. I'm a much older guy with a medium build so I have always worn knitted pull on shorts since for over 20 years. I like the longer length of the 9" inseam. They are one inch above my knees. Which is a an overall perfect fit. Most of the shorts I wear more frequently over years is athletic shorts but there are days like yesterday that when you want to dress more casual in shorts Brooklyn Athetic cargo shorts are nice to wear. I bought Navy Blue because it's really hard to find a these shorts in Dark blue. These have deeper and far better fabric than Amazon Essential Pull on shorts in 7" inseam that doesn't have this same blue as Brooklyn Atheltics. If you buy Brrokly Athletic cargo shorts. They are made in China so inspect them with scissors and just cut off any loose hanging threads. No big deal. These shorts are 100% heavy cotton so thier isn't going to be any stretch in the fabric. It should be noted that all knitted shorts are not made to have any stretch.

Durable fabric and a rich camouflage print.In all honesty, I am not a "slim-fit" guy, so these don't feel comfortable rubbing on my thighs in hot weather. There is some stretch, which helps with ease of movement, but overall not a great buy for me.If you like slim-fit and camo shorts, these could be your new favorite shorts.

The first pair I ordered was a bit large for me so I gifted it to a family member since it was pretty nice. That one had a pocket oversewn (sewing construction error) but was easily fixed with a thread puller. I ordered two more pairs based on my good impression of the first one. These didn't have any construction issues. The fabric is brushed and soft to the touch. The construction is generally very good (excepting the one problem).

The best feature for me are the leg openings, which are not ridiculously enormous (like many shorts in the US) but also aren't tight. I wear these shorts to work in a factory/warehouse environment. They have enough give for when I bend or stoop, but I wouldn't characterize them as super stretchy. Some of the colors feel a little stiff upon arrival but soften up nicely once washed and shrink a tad in the dryer, which is ideal for me because they now fall just barely above the knee. They're well made, and I have generally had success with both these and the gym shorts made by this company. I was hesitant on the tobacco color, but it has actually become my favorite; it has a rich tone and is a nice change from standard khaki and black/grey.

Decently comfortable but already had loose strings when they arrived on both and I bought 2 pairs. After washing a few times, they've gotten worse and one of the seams ripped near the crotch, and they are not right on me either.

Just looking for some lounge shorts and these are soft and comfortable. I prefer a slim fit but these look nice, they do stretch out a bit so it might make it a weekend. Initially washed in warm to hopefully shrink a tad and they didn't. Wore again and got stained so washed in hot; stain did not come out so I washed in hot again! No shrinkage so all i can complain about is the stitched in shoesting tie, either don't stitch it in place or use better string. Im going to try another pair!

I dont have a picture but these are my husbands favorite. I was very surprised with the good material quality. They feel very expensive and fit him perfectly.

I had similar pants and I really enjoyed them, so i went ahead and both a pair of these ... the material feels good, well made, so strings anywhere, cord is very useful (i bought a size too big, i'm 6'0" 200lbs, about 34-36 waist usually) and they look really good. For the price and materials, it was a good buy!

Lousy material, too thin to wear outside. Save your money and buy from Uniqlo.
