Amazon Basics Non-Stick Kitchen Cookware 8-Piece Set, Non-Induction, Includes Pots and Pans, Black

I'm not really a cookware expert, nor do I play one on TV. I'm not even into cooking at all actually. To be honest, I hate cooking. Well, I don't really hate it. But I don't like it. What I do like is when a product I buy on Amazon exceeds my wildest expectations. Not that my expectations for this cookware set were all that wild. Rather tame actually, considering my general aversion to cooking in general. I like to boil water (and I'm an expert at that, although I don't like to brag), maybe for a cup of instant ramen noodles or a cup of coffee, and once in awhile, if I'm feeling particularly adventurous and/or frisky, some mac-and-cheese or some stove-top stuffing. But I'd usually much rather open a bag of something (beef jerky and cheez-its?) than go near the stove. So maybe it was just lowered expectaions when I ordered this basic package after throwing away all my old stuff following a recent move cross country. I was looking for something practical and of some halfway decent quality at least, but I certainly didn't want anything too fancy, nor did I want to spend too much on things I didn't think I'd be using all that much anyway. However, after having had and used this set for some time now, I must say I am most impressed. Not downright giddy mind you, but impressed. I can't talk of cookware going for a lot more than this, but I'm not sure buying such would be worth the extra money anyway because these are simply great. Very solid and well put together, heat absorption and duration are excellent and the heavy glass lids add a lot to the general overall feeling of quality here. The non-stick surfaces are great and fairly scratch-resistant as well and cleaning is a breeze. As someone who does not like cooking, I find myself using these all the time now, and cooking up a lot of variety of recipes (a lot of my own creation) I never thought I'd try. Don't let the price fool you, and don't let any negative reviews dissuade you. If you're looking for a nice little quality cookware set, at a more than reasonable price, don't hesitate to buy. The big two-handled pot is my favorite and especially great for my new specialty. A big pot of "Tommy's world famous, bacon, beef, and onions, honey bourbon barbequed beans," of course... ;-P

When I learned how toxic scratched cookware is - I am replacing all my old scratched pans with new ones as well the cooking tools I use. I love my nonstick cookware because it requires less cooking fat to prevent sticking, which leads to healthier cooking First, I was skeptical to buy this set, because of the price and some reviews, but glad I did, I am very impressed with the quality for the price. This cookware set has all the essentials for cooking for a small family. The pans have comfortable handles and the included lids are very helpful. What I like that you can use 2-quart saucepan lid also for 8-inch fry pan, which is very practical. I wish this set included a 12-inch fry pan to make it complete, but for the price no complaints, I bought it separately without any problem. Being a very wise shopper, this set is the best deal I could find on Amazon. I believe, it is not the cookware that you use that will determine the quality of your cooking, but it is your cooking skills and tools you are using that make that difference. I learned when your pans are scratched, some of the nonstick coatings can flake into your food and the pan also becomes stickier. To keep your pans is good shape wooden or silicone utensils are preferable to avoid any chemicals or toxins in your food. My 5 stars are taking into consideration Price and Quality. For a lesser expensive set, the quality is amazing. I originally got these for our RV. However when we couldn't decide on a high end set for our home, I said "f it" and went with these again. Now I am using them much more and the quality is DEFINITELY worth 5 stars for the price. Exceeded my expectations.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR KIDS AND FAMILY GIVE THEM THIS SET. IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS YOU CARE FOR GIVE THEM THESE POTS AND PANS. I ACCIDENTALLY WENT TO CHURCH. EGGS WERE LEFT BOILING ON THE STOVE FROM 10am to 2pm YES BOILING! NOTHING BURNED IN MY HOME THE POT DID NOT EVEN BURN. THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENED IT WAS 4 EGGS BOILING I CAME BACK HOME TO 3 EGGS 1 EGG EXPLODED. THAT’S IT THE EGGS BURNED. THERE WAS NO BLACK SMOKE FROM THE BURNING EGGS. YES THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS DISPATCHED ABOUT 1:30pm I HAD NO DAMAGE THESE POTS ARE GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AND NEW COUPLES STARTING OUT AND ANYONE YOU LOVE. THE POT WAS EASY TO CLEAN. NEVER LEAVE ANYTHING ON AND LEAVE YOUR HOME! Accidents happen but this pot was left about 10am and the fire department came about 1:30 the water had boiled out. That pot was on a gas stove with a medium high flame. Amazon you really used quality I live in a 21 story apartment building with THOUSANDS of families. I thank God nobody was injured and nothing burned. Buy this pot I’ll post the picture below. I also have a video but I’ll just post a picture it would not let me post it I’ll come try later

Came Smaller Than I Thought But I Have Them To This Day

My husband bought me this for a present and they are not heavy at all and they are super easy to clean. I store them hanging up because they are cute.

Para un grupo de 3 personas, está super bien. Lo único más grande es el sarten. Lo demás mide menos de 20 cm de diámetro. Pues si tiene Teflon y se desgasta como todo producto pero son gruesos, resistentes y algo pesados. La verdad, si lo volvería a comprar y más aún si costaran menos de $600 (a eso lo adquirí hace cerca de 2 años).

Really nice I love it

Normalerweise kann man von solchen billig Töpfen und Pfannen überhaupt nicht viel erwarten. Mein erster Eindruck war schon recht zufrieden stellend, nach langer Benutzung muss ich sagen für diesen Preis bekommt man echt eine nicht normale Billig Leistung. Die Wärmeleitung ist hervorragend, die Standfestigkeit der Töpfe ist wie es sein muss, doch bei der großen Pfanne lässt sie zu wünschen übrig. Da der Griff zu schwer ist, liegt die Pfanne nicht richtig auf, aber so bald man was zum Braten hinein liegt, gleicht es das wieder aus. Die Antihaft Beschichtung ist bei den meisten billigt Töpfen nicht so gut und verliert schnell seine Wirkung oder löst sich beim Benutzen und besonders bei dem Abwaschen leicht ab. Hier bekommt man allerdings für wenig Geld weitaus mehr, selbst nach einem Monat nutzen ist die Antihaftbeschichtung hervorragend. Doch man sollte doch schon sorgfältig bei dem Gebrauch damit umgehen, da man sonst die Antihaft Beschichtung zum Abplatzen bringt. Die Griffe gefallen mir auch sehr gut sie werden beim Kochen und braten nicht heiß und wenn sie mal locker werden kann man sie ohne aufwand wieder mit einem Schraubendreher festschrauben. Wer nicht viel Geld hat und sie mit Sorgfalt behandelt bekommt hier echt weitaus mehr als man für das Geld erwarten kann. Also für den kleinen Geldbeute ist das Set echt zu empfehlen.
