I love these peppers, and all the different flavors I've ordered from this company. The dried peppers are more leathery than papery. They smell amazing and taste even better.

It would be nice to swoop down into Mexico and bring back a couple bags of nasty unirrigated road dust covered slightly over-ripe Guajillo - but since i'm not going to do that i'll use these and just throw in a couple extra ones. We split them in half and drop them in the pot, put em out and scrape em after the beans are cooked.

The order arrived before scheduled without extra shipping charges. Ordered Friday, delivered by USPS before 9 a.m. Sunday. It's been difficult to find these two ingredients locally so I ordered them on Amazon. I plan to make Guajillo chili sauce for use in tacos and as a condiment. The Mexican oregano in all the Mexican-style dishes I prepare. Both bags of product look excellent. Glad tomorrow is taco Tuesday when I'll try them. If this goes well, I'll grow my own chilies next year.
