This is my first experience with this particular brand of organic parsley. So far, it seems quite fresh as is evidenced by its bright green color and great flavor. I usually purchase the largest packs of dried parsley that I can manage, often by the pound. In an effort to get the most reasonable price, many different brands have been tried - some have been a bit brownish green or more parsley powder/dust than flakes, but most often, my tried-and-true brands have the deep forest green hue with a chlorophyll-inspired, mild, peppery taste one would expect. This brand, IMO, stands out above all on color, texture, flavor and packaging. My whole family cooks, and we all appreciate flavor, spice, and utilizing the full spectrum of beautiful colors that healthy, home-cooked meals using fresh produce and various herbs can lend. This brand of dried parsley came packed to the gills with whole, kelly green flakes in a large, sturdy, lined, brown paper, flat-bottomed pouch with a resealable zip closure. I've been refilling my shaker containers that are more handily kept in the spice cabinet for everyday use. I love that I can then press the air out, and zip the large bag tightly, storing what remains in the pantry. I expect that it would last the average person several months up to, perhaps, a year. My household blows through such things rather quickly, topping soups, baked potatoes, garlic bread, fish, ramen, stir-frys, etc., and still, 1 lb of dried parsley flakes usually lasts us a couple of months. I intend to continue purchasing this as long as it is available. It's a great value!

Dried Parsley is good for your body. This bag is a pretty big quantity. Enough for one person for a year I suppose! I ordered for myself and add it to everything. Fresh green and great resealable bag makes it easy to use and stays fresh. Great value and quality. Tastes good too.

Most people use old nasty pale green/grey parsley with no flavor. This is so packed with that fresh flavor! Yes, parsley has a flavor. It is not just for color anymore! This product has the flavor, aroma, and a vibrant color that would compliment any dish. I especially love to do this parsley and pure butter to crust my steaks and prime rib with! FOR SOME REASON THE PRODUCT IS LIGHTER IN WEIGHT THAN COMPETITORS' BRANDS. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS ASPECT, BUT THE PARSLEY IS DEEPLY COLORFUL AND VERY FRESH!
