I love this author and I find this book needed.It is great work.

Did not enjoy it as much as the book ten years ago , a number of different authors, not her account

An excellent compilation of different perspectives on an important women’s movement

It's new , in many ways (literature & illustration & ..) I can feel it , it's true

After having read Persepolis I purchased this paperback as soon as I heard of it. I'm glad I did. It is a work of visual art as well as literature so I recommend a hard copy over digital/kindle version.

It is a great book

Marjan Satrapi, and others, have brought Iranian life into hyper examination of what it feels like to live in an oppressive, dictatorial regime. I taught her earlier books, but this hones in on brave young people and their attempts to fight a sullen, murderous, and horrific human rights auto-da-fé.
