I got this book in the mail yesterday. I sat and read it in about an hour and a half. It had about 5 strategies that may be useful and not even with my kid with Autism for her this book just feels like to do these things would be torture to her. Many advices given in this book made me go Huh? Really? WTF even... I bought this book to ease myself into the idea of ABA and instead it reinforced my need to avoid it..I thought this book would be helpful ways to do some ABA type stuff at home.. Instead it was a book with questions from teachers and answers that mostly say see a ABA therapist for correct approach..Detox your children. We are treating this Pandemic the wrong way.

If you are a parent of a child with ASD and wish to know about ABA therapy than Tameika Meadows has your answers. Tameika makes ABA simple and desirable to getting functional behavior working in any child's life.

If you have been around kids with developmental delays for more than a week this book is a waste of time. May be good for educational assistants that are new to the job or parents that have no idea what they are doing. It is an OK starting place but not really full of a lot of good info. I have seen blogs that had much better info.

Was not impressed with this book. I have read other books that were much better in ABA advice. ABA is not for all on the spectrum.

I purchased specifically for families I help and therapists I work with in the children s health mental field. I am a family partner and often I find myself recommending children for ABA services. Most don't understand what it is. This book gave really good examples for behaviors that our children deal with.I would love for the book to have a contents page and formatting. That would be helpful. Right now my book is all highlighted and flagged.Since ordering mine I know that 2 therapists have ordered this book!

I am a special ed teacher with students that would benefit from ABA.I thought I was getting a book that would give activities and ideas for me to work with my kids.This book is written for parents with kids who need ABA and gives plenty of ways to incorporate this strategy into your day.Not meant for teachers.

I work as an SLP and am now completing a M.Ed. in ABA. I was hoping this book would provided more in depth strategiesfor behaviors. This book would be more geared towards parents to provide a very basic approach to behaviors. Disappointed, thoughI do agree her website is a great resource with much better information.

This was helpful and I recommend to other parents with questions or issues they aren't sure what to do or how to change the behavior.

This isn't what I expected, but I think I can use bits and pieces of the book for work, here and there.

Horrible, literally no in depth explanations or advice it all seems to be very point form one or two sentence paragraphs per topic. This book is a joke, don’t waste your money like I did.

I work children with special needs, also with autists and found some useful tipps in this book. However I think the book is not worth the price since it is very thin and rather superficial.

It was not really a practical book for me. I think like a lot of parents I was looking for some inspirational life changing advice that will help me with my autistic child. Obviously there is no such book but this one gave me nothing.
