This review is for a windshield crack/chip repair kit. If you see this review under any other item, then the seller is "recycling" reviews in order to maintain the illusion of a higher rating.Here's what's wrong with this product:1) Reapair kit is cheaply designed. After installing the suction cup base, you're supposed to screw in a vertical barrel that drips the resin into the chip/crack. The barrel's screw threads don't reach the threads on the base without bending the suction cup arms of the base.Simply put: extremely poor and cheap design that requires you to go against the instructions just to get it to do what was intended.2) The liquid resin doesn't cure under direct sunlight (the biggest, most powerful UV light we all have available to us). I moved my windshield into direct sunlight for 30mins, per the instructions, and tge liquid resin never hardened. I then left it for 1.5hrs and still no signs of hardening.And finally:3) Seller is recycling old 3+ star reviews for a completely different product in order to trick people into thinking this is a good product.This is a common scam tactic on Amazon. Sellers take an old product listing with good reviews, and change the product description and images (which also leaves behind tge old product category... so you get stuff like car parts listed under children's toys). The new product can be complete garbage, or something good, but it isn't what the reviews are for. It's a scam tactic that makes the new product appear as if it has a high number of good reviews, when the reviews actually have nothing to do with the new product.This seller should be taken down by Amazon!

The instructions, obviously translated from Chinese, are confusing at best. I was waiting to see liquid enter the cracks that emanated from the small hole but, not seeing that, I kept adding liquid (per the instructions), only to find when I removed the device, excess liquid started dripping all down the glass. And the cracks were still visible, though the hole is filled. After curing, I did a 2nd application without the device, just for the cracks, but it doesn't seem like it's capable of filling in cracks. So, I'm not sure if this stuff really helped at all. But chip does look slightly less noticeable.

There is a little booklet that describes what you need to do (no video needed). That's nice.The product fills the gap and stabilizes the wind shield. It does not entirely get rid of the krack but it does the job. I am happy with it.

can not believe how well it worked, i just followed instructions and did a great job.

the piece that is meant to screw down tight against the glass has no threads on the lower half inch. This meant that there was not enough room once the suction cups were on to screw it in more than a thread or two and I was never able to get it tight, so the glue just spread out on top of the glass.Instructions are pretty useless...they tell us to put it on in the dark or indoors but why, since the curing happens with the plastic pieces in full sun.Don't waste your money on this piece of poorly designed crap.

Did not work for my windshield.

Let’s start with the instructions, if it wasn’t for the pictures the instructions were awful. The wording for each image did not describe what the image was doing.Second, the suction cup device that you place on the windshield cannot have all 4 cups on the window at the same time and the silicon plunger screw piece that goes in the center at one time Like the directions show to do. Once all 4 suction cups are on the glass, you are unable to screw the center piece in due to it not having threads at the end.Once you do manage to get it close to the window and to drop the resin drops in the center screw tube, the resin just comes out the top and not down to the silicone tip like it’s supposed to.Absolutely a waste of money!

I have no doubt that it works because I was able to seal some of the crack that expanded but there’s still a bubble in the bullseye chip that isn’t fixed. I think I’ve sealed off all the entrances to the bubble at this point so.. I guess it’s just going to be like that until I replace the windshield. It needs to come with MUCH better instructions than the four photo pamphlet it comes with. For those of us that have never done anything remotely close to this before, the instructions are insufficient.
