Looks so real, feels like a real gun with bullets. I am not a gun person this helps me feel more secure. Its not small for a small purse.

Compared to a paintball that didn’t break, when hitting targets with the kinetic rounds it hit with a surprising amount of force. It ripped threw regular cardboard moving boxes with ease and has enough force to bounce off a wooden backstop and still go a decent distance. With the short barrel it seems a little bit louder than the paintball guns I used to have but I did not verify with a sound meter.It seems well constructed and has some weight to it. Mags slide and lock in nice. It would be nice if the mag release was not flush to make for easier reloading, a specially if you have small hands. It should due well if used in the proper situation, but is not a fit for every situation. It’s a good tool for densely populated places where bullet pass throughs, misses or ricochets would be a concern.

I've used this and I'm so impressed I bought another one. The first in Orange. The other in Tan.I will say though that the CO2 cartridge only allows for about 4-6 clips of shots.This is a great gun I love it cuz u can keep it loaded and not pressurize the gun until u need it. That was a major sales point fo me. I went to Big Fuve and found a holster for it 15$.The Accuracy is incredible. I've shot this up to 20-30-40 feet with pretty dam good accuracy. LLS. Get some extra CO2 cartridges. Its supper easy. BTW. Pepper Balls are about 5$ "EACH"SO get the yellow practice balls. Use a plywood back stop.And reuse. I use card board amd.make my own targets.To each their own. Peace and safety for all.

My thoughts on this item have changed after using for a few months. Turns out if you don’t use the CO2 cartridge after a few weeks it runs empty on I’ts own from leaking slowly I guess. The big problem with that is there is no way to know this or exactly when it’s empty. So if there comes a time to need it chances are after a week or so not in use it will not fire due to the empty cartridge. Which kinda makes the item useless. Only way to be 100% sure it will fire is to change the cartridge every week or so to make sure it works. Which again ends up being pretty damn expensive and annoying. It looks good but it should have an empty cartridge indicator. Just my opinion. It’s about the cost of a actual firearm. So you think it be a better design.

Despite providing my wife with revolvers for self-defense , she would never carry them because, frankly, she didn't really want to shoot anyone with a potentially lethal bullet. The pepper spray devices were OK, but they are only useful if someone is already fairly close. Pink is a good color so no one thinks you have a real gun. (I will be surprised if this review makes it through Amazon Community Guidelines, but I don't know how else to explain the advantages of this unit.)

This was a purchase to have a non-lethal alternative in the house around a family. The idea is simple enough, something with a little stopping force to prevent further approach or cause enough harm to an assailant that they would retreat, all-the-while being safe enough to keep in a bedside drawer.The cost of this weapon is about the same as a small handgun. Expectations were appropriately assessed given the nature of the purchase and our intended use. Once we unboxed it and put it through the initial tests, we found it was quite weak in capabilities and fell short of what we were looking to achieve.The NegativeThis device is pretty weak. Yes, it will punch through a layer of cardboard and, yes, it would sting if one was struck by the projectile, BUT, this isn't going to stop someone. At best, it MAY be a deterrent and/or distraction for a moment if your intention is to retreat quickly after use. The power just isn't there to really stop a motivated individual. The clip only holds 5 projectiles, and they are not terribly accurate given their relative size and the force which propels them. In addition, the spring locking mechanism on the clip, that holds the ammo in the clip, is hyper sensitive and will eject all ammo instantly if bumped while handling, in storage or while loading. This has happened several times during practice tests, and there doesn't seem to be a fix for this other than being very, very careful with it while exercising normal use.So, it's reasonable to say, if stress levels are increased in a real-life event, the likelihood of losing your ammo during reloading is quite plausible. The projectile force is not nearly incapacitating enough, and it's only a five round capacity. For us, this becomes unsafe if it's unreliable, and this definitely is NOT going to do the job.If you decide to try it thinking you will return it if you do not like it, think again. On the home page, it looks like it is listed as a returnable item, but you will quickly learn that it IS NOT. They can ship it to you, but you can NOT ship it back to them due to the contents of the shipment. You are then required to try to work out your return with BYRNA directly. Their Customer Service is non-existent, so good luck with that.The PositiveThe gun itself is well constructed and sturdy. The grip is great, and its simple design makes it easy to use for almost any full sized adult. If your intention is to just use this for fun, perhaps shooting targets in your backyard, then sure, have at it. It's an expensive BB Gun at best, but it can still be fun and seems like it would last a long time.
