I originally required this cable purely for audio use, as I had been asked to DJ a friend's birthday party. Fed up of carrying CDs around, I decided to use my iPAD and created several playlists. From previous experience using the headphone socket on an iPAD, I knew that the amplified sound quality was not going to be good.A quick search on Amazon, found this excellent cable. I immediately ordered for next day delivery. Sure enough, the cable arrived at about 9AM and I was immediately impressed by the visual quality of both the standard iPAD plug and also the three phono plugs (Audio L + R & Composite Video). A bonus is that it also includes a USB plug to power and charge the iPAD.On testing the cable, the sound quality was excellent and the party was a success.Since purchasing the cable, I have also used the video output connected to hotel TVs, to watch movies and also connected to my own TV to play karaoke CD & G files. It's not HD quality, but that is more to do with the iPAD and a composite signal, more than the cable.Overall, this has been a very good purchase and really good value for money. Does not work. Says it does not support iPhone 4s!!

A great product for connecting your Ipod/Ipad/Iphone to your TV or Stereo so you can watch your films, view your pictures and listen to music. . Colour coded so very simple to set up. Even a non tech like me could do it. Also well made. I highly recommend it.

I chose this product so that I can plug in my sweet iPad into my telly so that I can watch youtube directly on my old CRT telly, which is still proper pukka.

Does what it claims, although the quality of the video output is pretty rubbish. Sound output is okay, although you can get the same result using an audio lead from the headphone socket to your speaker system. The quality of both video and audio is not the fault of the cable however, it is the limitations of the ipad itself. My daughter has an ipad2 and the quality of the output is outstanding when connected via the hdmi connector.

It is the wrong one for my ipad but i think i am to late to put it backit looks a good bit of kit.

All I wanted to do was to play my ipod music videos, downloaded TV programmes and films on tv screens, I have used it with a number of TVs and the quality was always good. This lead is a useful item worth having if you want to do the above-mentioned.
