Brilliant just brilliant, fast melt time and it holds more than you think it will. Saves so much time in comparison to stove top burner. My only criticism is the pour is messy, I wouldn’t pour straight into my container with this. I pour into a large jug add fragrance then pour into containers from the jug. Overall I love this melter! Great bit of kit at a decent price

I am new to candle making and been using the small metal pot that came with a starter pack that only holds 200g of wax at a time and takes ages over a pan of boiling water to melt. This melter arrived today and I added 400g of wax and no 1 setting and it was melted within 10mins ready.. It pours without any spillage direct from the heater... brilliant.

Wow, what an incredible wax melting pot.Despite the other reviews that I have read & also as a beginner, I think this great value for money. Simple to use, two settings 200F & 260F melts the wax in minutes. It does drip slightly down the side as though the spout could do with modifying, but if your careful you shouldn’t lose too much.Easy to clean, I use a paper towel whilst it’s still warm/hot.Downside, the cable is vey short & can be a pain to unplug each time.Overall, it’s well worth the money.

Jug is great. Non stick. Easy to clean. Light but not flimsy. Stands sturdily on a surface and won't tip over if you nudge it. Great non spill pouring. Reasonable capacity for making a few container candles at a time.Very rapid melt on full power but watch it like a hawk. It will boil the wax within seconds of melting if you are distracted. I would suggest a brief burst of full power then cut it to half power. The middle power option is slower but safer.There is no thermostat at this price point so it is on you to heat then use a thermometer. You are going to have to develop a knack of not overheating your wax or you will be standing around waiting for it to cool to a sensible temperature to add scent to and to safely pour. Liquid soy wax goes from just molten to well over 100°C really fast in this.This is to be expected for what is an occasional hobby style device. If you make a few candles as gifts every now and then this will serve you well and is definitely less of a faff than using a saucepan as a water bath for a metal jug. If you have ideas of making large numbers of container candles to start a business you would be better off investing in a thermostat controlled large melter. If you are making a small number of more intricately moulded pillar candles it is ideal.

I've had my wax melting pot for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. Before buying this I was using a metal jug on the hob and it took so long to make a single candle, I no longer have this problem. Wax melts very quickly quite often I only need to use the first setting. This machine cleans very easily as well, as soon as your finished wipe with a kitchen towel and it's clean ready for next time. I highly recommend this if you make candles/wax melts regularly. There's no indicators to tell you how much wax you have melted so if you need a certain amount of wax, a jug with measurements on it will be needed. That's the only bad thing I have to say about this machine other than that it's brilliant very highly recommended product.

For reference I use soy wax pellets for my candles. A full pot of pellets melts down to about half a pot in liquid form and it melts quickly. I hadn't even set up my wicks before it had completely melted! Pours easily into my containers with the easy pour spout so minimal mess, if any. Easy to clean afterwards. Can't really find a fault... maybe a longer lead would be nice to plug in, but that may just be my setup.
