Despite being a prime example of a device adding functionality you don't really need, these are still pretty neat. OK, so swiveling your Echo Show 5 isn't exactly taxing, and the screen viewing angles are sufficient to never really neat to tilt it, yet this little stand allows you to both simply and easily while also raising the device by an inch or two and completely changing the look. I keep my Show 5 on my bedside table (or is that a night stand?) so actually raising it slightly helps me to see it over the mobile phone, the paperback and the other general detritus that often lives on top. It also keeps the Show 5's fabric overcoat clean underneath, not that I'd see it if it was dirty, but I, and my OCD, would know it was there.The central ball joint is just firm enough to keep the angle you set where you set it, but free enough to make adjusting a doddle. The stand has a very similar footprint to the device itself so you won't gain any real estate on the surface where you place it.I have to confess, when I set up my Show 5 I didn't even notice the half-moon recess underneath it, or question what it was for, but as you move the stand into place a bunch of magnets take hold and it nestles into the recess in a most satisfying way. The soft, large rubber or silicone pad beneath means you're not chasing the thing around every time you adjust the angle as it sits squarely where you leave it. I'd like to see a selection of colours available but that aside I can't fault the construction or the application, it's just a very cool addition that doesn't massively improve the Show 5 but gives it a whole new aesthetic.

This is a great little stand for my Show5. As commonly found, the angle for the camera is not optimal when the Show 5 is sitting alone, so this stand is a god-send. It fits firmly in place with its magnetic attachment and allows the angle of the Show5 to be adjusted to suit - ideal for its use as a bedside clock/alarm/display when laying down or sitting up. Great!

This stand is specifically designed to fit the Echo 5 Show Gen3, however I have the Echo 5 show 2nd Gen (2021). Although not designed for that model this stand fits, in as much as, it sits on top of the magnetic base and the magnet holds it quite firmly in place. Although not designed for the 2nd Gen, it doesn’t look out of place and feels fairly secure. You would of course, for best fit, be best advised to buy the model for the Echo Show Gen you have.I really think the Echo Show 5 should actually come with a stand as standard and not an additional accessory.The stand adds convenience and with it an element of enhanced functionality -easy to adjust the viewing angle. I mainly use the Echo Show 5 as a bedside clock and the stand has allowed me to adjust the screen to a much better angle for viewing the clock whilst in bed.A nicely made stand with easy swivel and tilt and once adjusted the position holds well. A rubber base holds the stand firmly on whatever surface it’s placed and will not scratch delicate surfaces.This is a nice addition to the Echo Show and does add functionality but I’ve always thought these have been an expensive accessory.Happily give 5 stars as this is a useful accessory but if I had to give a rating for value for money, at a little under £20 (at time of review) I would probably knock a star maybe 2 off

There is a vaguely triangular recess on the bottom of the Show and the stand has a raised similar triangular shape. They mate and magnets serve to keep the two together. It is very neat. There is also a joint between the triangular plate and the base so the orientation of the Show can be changed.First point is, you have to wonder why the Show didn't come with a stand - as standard. Would it really have added a great deal to the price if it had been produced as one-to-one with the Show itself? However, this leads to the second point. A stand is seldom necessary. The Show sits easily by itself and there are only a few situations in which it can't be placed somewhere where it can be easily seen. More useful would be a bracket so a Show can be securely attached to a wall or underneath a shelf.If you really need a stand then this is a very fine stand indeed; but if you don't then i'd suggest you save your money.

OK so this fits my Amazon Alex Show 5 (Gen 3) perfectly. I have the dark colour one (think it might be grey/cobalt) and this stand is white (not to worry the cable and plug are white. It allows you to swivel, rotate and angle up and down, currently have the show 5 on top of a microwave and this elevates it perfectly and allows the show 5 to be tilted and positioned appropriately to allow us to a) see things on the show 5 and b) to send commands to the show 5.Good product, perfect fit but maybe a little overpriced given the show 5 itself often goes on sale.

This is my second stand so I have a comparison. This is much better than my previous one not least because this is the correct size for my device. The magnet is very strong and it doesn’t shift about when you swivel the head. Good movement and easy to adjust to get the angle you want. Enhances your experience of your device and how you use it. Good quality build and strong. Definitely recommend.
