How many inserts come with the lift?

Hello, There will be three Insert Rings that are included in your Lift. The Sizes are 1" , 1-3/16" and 2-5/8". Thank you, Billy H Kreg Tech Support

How far the the lift travel up and down?

The Kreg Precision Router Lift will have three inches of travel. This will allow bit changes above the table.

Does the kreg prs5000 lift fit to the bosch 1617evs router

Out of total frustration of not being able to fit either my DeWalt 618 or my Bosch 1617 router into the lift (and in spite of completely removing the motor-clamp screw), I went down to the hardware store and got 2 bolts of the same thread size and length but without the slightly larger shoulder. I replaced 2 adjacent shouldered bolts with the ones without shoulders. I also removed the spacer in the motor-clamp screw so I could tighten the clamp enough. Now either router fits. Everything's nice and snug.

I have a Craftsman 1749. Will it fit?

Unfortunately, we have not tested the system on the Craftsman 1749. However, if the motor diameter is any of the following it should still work: 3.218", 3.267", 3.32", 3.5", 3.625", 3.675", 4.143" and 4.2".
