Not at all sure this is value for money
This stand rotates 360 degrees and tilts up and down to a limited degree. The tilt is useful, but I suspect rotation is a simple by=product of the ball-joint. In practice you have to hold the base to rotate the Show. You may as well just move the Show and base together in the wanted direction. The stand fits into a recess on the underneath of the new Show 8, and is held in place by magnets. It is quite firm but at the same time easy to remove. My first photograph shows my Show sitting on the corner of my bureau. The picture on the Show is fine, but a little distorted when I am sitting at the bureau. However, note the reflection of the room lights. That is annoying. Second picture is the Show on its stand, at maximum down-tilt. A great improvement but a few more degrees down would be better still.I must confess, before getting the stand, I did not use the Show as in picture number one. Instead, I had a rectangle of rubber mat, sufficiently small it was not really noticeable, which tilted the rear of the The Show up, and achieved the same effect as picture number two. This I think is the weakness of this stand. The same effect, at least for me, was achieved by cutting down an offcut of a rubber mat. The Show was marginally less secure than it is in this stand, but the rubber was considerably less expensive. The stand is well made, and does exactly what is advertised, and does it well. There is no reason not to give it five stars. I also quite understand many people will not want to resort to a piece of scrap rubber or plastic, or a small piece of wood. .....but you could buy an Echo Dot for what this stand costs.

Handy Tilt, Unnecessary Twirl: Is This Show 8 Stand Worth the Price?
This stand lets you tilt your Show 8 for better viewing angles, but here's the honest truth:Pros:Tilt it Right: The adjustable angle is fantastic for cooking, watching shows, or keeping an eye on little ones.Magnetic Marvel: Attaching and removing the stand is a breeze thanks to the strong magnets.Built to Last: It feels sturdy and well-made, so you don't have to worry about wobbly mishaps.Cons:The 360° Spin? Not So Useful: It seems more like a byproduct of the design than a practical feature. You're better off moving the whole base for real rotation.Pricey for a Tilt: I achieved a similar effect with a cut-up rubber mat for much less. The stand is convenient, but the price might sting.Mismatched Hue: Double-check the color! I received one that didn't quite match my Show 8 (think mismatched socks).Overall:This stand does what it promises: tilts your Show 8 conveniently. But the unnecessary rotation and high price compared to DIY alternatives might make you pause. It's reliable, but not a "must-have" unless you really value the magnetic attachment and perfect color match.

Great accessory for Echo Show
This is such a good addition to the Echo Show it's disappointing (but obvious) why they don't supply with their devices. This was acquired for an Echo Show 5 so isn't magnetic on the bottom, but sits quite happily on the stand and looks great with the matching white plastic. Offers the ability to direct this for the perfect position with our bedside Alexa and makes the screen a good deal more 'viewable' than when it's stuck to the flat of the bedside table.

Great item and works for other generations.
I got his not fully reading the listing properly and didn’t realise this was for a 3rd generation show. I decided to try this anyway and if need be would upgrade my echo show as it’s getting on a bit anyway. I was happy to see that this actually worked great with my 2nd generation show 8. It’s magnetic and the show sits nicely on top and forms a great bond. I’m able to move and manipulate the show into many different angles. Which is good as previously when dropping in on the kitchen echo I would just see the ceiling due to the angle of the camera. Now I can see the whole room and the echo looks much better with screen facing lower down allowing better interface with the touchscreen also. Overall this is a great item and one of the better prices I’ve seen for this item!

Well made
This is a very well made stand which fits perfectly onto the Echo Show 8. Indeed, it looks like it’s part of the Echo Show, as though it’s always there. It’s a short stand which lifts it slightly higher, and is set on a ball and socket joint which allows the Echo unit to be swivelled left or right; or up and down. It can therefore be angled easily to avoid glare or just turned if you want to better see the screen or make a video call. The motion of the swivelling joint is really smooth and feels satisfyingly firm - it doesn’t move or wobble once put into the required position. The base is magnetic and holds itself onto the base really well, with no sliding even at a fairly sharp angle. A simple little extra but really makes the Echo unit a lot more useful - I wish I’d got one with my Echo as it makes it a lot more user friendly.
