Interesting
More of a collection of stories about lives of God men which by itself is definitely worth reading through but does not quite inspire because in today's world, it is easy for devotees to paint a larger than life picture of these God men just because of a certain genes that is characterised by the blind faith strands hard coded in them. Moreover recollections of such devotee folks of that age naturally tends to come packed with a lot of embellishments, albeit unintentionally because of the psychology of such faith conditioned minds. But sure.. Great for simple minds looking for some spiritual inspiration

The stories are told with charm and simplicity I was reminded of The Autobiography of a Yogi where you come to realize that all the stories are told in a manner that help raise your vibration as you take another step towards your own actualization.

Pure presence!
Thanks to this book I was able to be briefly in Padampuri and sit at the lotus feet of Sombari Baba to have his Darshan. The stories conveyed the presence of this saint in a such a palpable way that I wished they never end. Thanks K.K. Sah! A relatively unknown saint for us westerners come alive at due time in my heart

A wonderful book by Ram Dass's oldest and dearest friend
A wonderful book by Ram Dass's oldest and dearest friend, K. K. Sah. It shows the vitality and presence of spirituality in India with wonderful stories about Sombari Baba Maharajji. K. K. is very careful to only include attributed first hand accounts so that the amazing stories come to life with authenticity.

Very authentic
One can get the feeling of the Siddhas and the area. I went there in 1982 and it changed my life. Time and space do not limit them. Jump in and see if you can enjoy their grace. Since then I have always had a ticket back stage.

A spiritual odyssey
Devbhoomi is one of the books that is close to my heart. It makes a wonderful read. A spiritual seeker in search of metaphysical mysteries will surely like it. The stories and anecdotes about Sombari Baba and Neem Karoli Baba are intriguing and captivating. If you happen to read this book you are truly blessed by the Divine Masters. The author has brilliantly curated all the experiences and clubbed them under a suitable title - DevBhoomi

The best thing about this book is the simplicity
The best thing about this book is the simplicity. No pretenses . Just simple, warm, heart touching, soul stirring satsang about the holy saints and siddhas. There are enough philosophical, spiritual books out there. Here you get to know the saints up close. It Is as if you are right there having darshans. The siddhas who spoke less ,led a simple life .Their loving presence was quite and unassuming. Such a rare treasure. If you wish to have darshans of such holy people you need to read this book. I am so loving it !!

An amazing, inspiring book on spirituality.
KK Sah brings to life the amazing times of Neem Karoli Baba and then takes us further into the past with Sombari Baba.It is an amazing book. A must-read for every spiritual seeker. There is one drawback though, this book has the potential to spur a rush of 'Spiritual Tourists' to Uttarakhand.A definite spiritual classic. A must-have.
