Great for reaming out holes
Bought this to help ream holes that I’m drilling I’m metal,plate. This bit has been a great addition to my projects.

Terrific for drilling truck frame!
This step bit ran rings around my cobalt drills when drilling 5/8" (16mm) holes through .30" (7.62 mm) steel truck frame steel. Using hand drills, the cobalt bits made fine dust and took forever. After drilling a starter dimple with a cobalt drill, I used this step bit and created a finished hole in around 15 minutes (as compared to 1 to 2 hours using the cobalt drills). Definitely a must have for your tool box!
