Ardell Surgi-Wax Brazilian Wax Kit

This wax is super easy to use and works really well. It goes right into the microwave and can be reused multiple times. I usually get at least 3-4 waxes out of mine (I only do bikini tho; I'm too afraid to try Brazilian on my own). The wax melts from the inside out, so even if the top is hard, there might be molten wax underneath. I always microwave for short periods and try to stir to get the right consistancy. Typically have to re-microwave a few times during the process but that's way better than having to buy a wax pot.

I followed all the instructions and started using it on my bikini area, and for a while it worked very well. It got almost all the hair and wasn't too messy. However, after a while of using it I noticed that when I applied the wax it was very stringy and it became very messy. I microwaved it a few times to try to get it softer and not so stringy, but then it became too hot AND it was still stringy. It became such a mess that I had to throw it out and I didn't even get to finish. This could be my fault, though, as it was my first time using this kind of wax (I have used Sally Hansen hard wax before, and that was a MUCH worse experience than this wax). I found it much easier to pull the wax off with cloth strips, although you don't actually need them. This item could've been better, but it also could have been much worse.

Hardwax is the worst for corse hair. Threw it away after having to cut it out. Honestly nothing special or different from the other brands I've tried to used, like sally hanson.

Best microwaveable wax I’ve ever tried. I have been using this for years now. Pulls out even the thinnest shortest hairs. Definitely recommend!!
