We’ve used these for multiple events. Hair chalks tended to work better on lighter colored hair but add in the glitter and it makes it more noticeable. Took one to two washes to completely come out of hair.

We gave not used them yet but came faster then ship date looks cool to use..will update after we try them

I wish there was an easy way to add color to one's hair temporarily, but alas it seems not. After reading reviews on a few different products a few months ago, I thought these sounded like they'd actually work, but when I got them, and tried drawing on my wet hair, which is a dark blonde/light brown color, the colors barely showed on it and mainly only towards the scalp. I do have thin hair and not a whole lot of it, making it harder to really pull some together and apply the stick to it, but still if it worked as it looks online, it should've shown up a lot brighter and more pigmented. It unfortunately gets lost in my own hair color and comes off easily. The free glitter that came with it was cool though, but I don't recommend overall.

By far my favorite hair chalk I’ve used! It’s got a sealer in it so your color doesn’t rub off. It shampoos off really nicely as well

My nieces aged 4-11 had great fun with these on Christmas Day, even the dog joined in! Easy to use and arrived speedily. Did take a few washes to remove but as long as you’re prepared for that it’s fine.

Bought as an Xmas gift for my daughters. 1 has auburn hair and 1 blonde. Much more effective on my blonde daughters hair (as predicted), much more noticeable. It does show up in my Auburn hair daughter-I used on damp hair to apply as application is easier and once hair is dry it looks best! Haven’t used as face paint but would think it works well but maybe quite thick lines? Wouldn’t be good for smaller details.Another plus is unlike hair mascara/spray it doesn’t make the hair stiff or crunchy! Stays natural.

I love this product. My sister's daughter has been experimenting with costumes and lately she's been talking about dyeing her hair. My sister wasn't ok with it as she is still very young, so I found this alternative on Amazon and my sister and her daughter are both very pleased with this hair chalk. The ingredients are pretty harmless contrary to commercial dyes and using them is straight forward. Best of all, the colour is not permanent and my niece can change colors whenever she feels like it. Some of the color can sometimes end up on your pillow or clothes but this is to be expected with this kind of product - nothing to worry about, it washes off with a bit of soap and cold water. Finally, my niece can have her hair dyed with this safe product and my sister can breathe. Not to mention I am now the nice uncle who found some coloring for his niece :)

I bought these as a birthday gift for my friends daughter. She is 5y/o and has a fascination with hair and is forever playing with mine, so I thought these would make the ideal present. I must admit, I was a little concerned of potential colour transfer but my friend said that they are very easy to clean and wash out, and her and her sister have had so much fun with them! Apparently even the dog received a makeover!

Really disappointed little girl, after looking at so many different hair chalks and reading reviews I decided to go for these as they sounded like they would work well on dark hair and my small person has been dying to try some. Over an hour of my life and money wasted trying to make my daughters hair become a beautiful rainbow. Instead after following instructions and watching lots of tutorials to see the best way to apply and get lasting results we had very little joy, some left a very subtle colour change but you could hardly see a thing after hair had dried. Yes her hair is dark and very long, they will maybe work OK on lighter hair but they just left her hair with an awful feel which she wanted to wash out, we tried to plait her hair to make colours more visible but the chalk made it very hard to separate hair or comb. I think if you have shorter hair and lighter hair then you possibly will get good results but sadly instead of being fun they became frustrating and left hair a sticky mess.
