If you're looking for a good mentor Will Coombe is exceptionally qualified. He will take you through the various steps and what it takes to achieve that top No1 spot in google. I was impressed with his effort of combining 9 years+ of being one of the UK's leading SEO firms into a solid 6-month marathon of putting it all out there in this book, that is not an easy thing to do and it is one of the reasons which has made me appreciate the contents all the more, he is also a go-getter and an adventurous individual, so you know when you're reading this you are getting advice from someone who has done a lot in his life.He has an ethical approach with integrity, has quite the friendly writing style that keeps you glued to your screen.This is very important in business nowadays. There is a little nice surprise just before the end which I thoughtwas a true testament of the credibility and the heart this go-getter author has.All of the above has given me enough reasons to trust his credibility in turn which gave me the confidence to really digest the contents of the book thus getting a better understanding. (When you tend to trust the information you are reading, and have just solid faith in it, you tend to learn better, I know this for a fact and it came through with Will Coombe.)Who this book is not for ( My personal opinion )1. Let me make this easy for you, to save on your money. If you are the type of person who is looking for shortcuts( This is not definitely..! Not for you. Though it is also great to skim through if you are wanting to get clarification on a certain topic.)2. If you are the type of person who when faced with obstacles OR adversity OR when the going gets tough OR seems to duck in turbulent situations (Pun intended hah) and hides then this book is again not for you. If however you are this person and looking for a change, then there is no better place to start than here, SEO is an accessible tool and a learnable one.3. If you are a thrifty spender when it comes to SEO and digital assets... and are in the mindset of viewing this book as an expense rather than an investment with the potential for a MASSIVE RETURN on that investment (Then that is right I'm going to say it again..) I think your money might be better spent elsewhere. Mind you it is a for a low price compared to the huge value you get in return for it, but once again if this is you! then definitely keep that money and better spend it elsewhere..!Whom I think this book is for :1. For people who are dedicated and are looking for an improvement in their life.2. For people who have a business small-medium and are interested in the SEO process. ( Will is an absolute professional.)3. For starting affiliate marketers who want to make massive returns on their investment. ( Yes, please skip the other books with flashy titles.. Go with this one.)4. For people who want to start an agency.5. For those who are already in the game and are doing all right but are even more interested to take it to the next level and increase their market share. (Want to be more accessible to your customers? I highly recommend it. )6. For those looking debunk some common issues and myths around SEO I feel this book is an excellent choice for that also.7. For those who are really on top of their SEO game and just basically are top-notch experts on the subject - but who are looking to get a different insight. It might be worth a read I think.All in all - I thought this book was a great read, Will Coombe has created a raging fan in me here for sure.This review is not biased in any way, shape, or form however it just depicts my true thoughts about this book.I have purchased a few SEO books both digitally and paperbacks, which I would of course not name here,for the purposes of not tarnishing them but I will say this book is the cream of the crop.The author has also made a good effort to connect with his readers.I was impressed with the writing style, felt like I was sitting down and having a coffee across fromWill as he takes you through the process and explains the different parts.In the words of Jack welch "Innovation is not a big breakthrough invention every time. Innovation is a constant thing. But if you don't have an innovative company [team], coming to work every day to find a better way,you don't have a company[team]. You're getting ready to die on the vine.You're always looking for the next innovation, the next niche, the next product service improvementBut always trying to get better. "I feel that Will is a living testament to this and is trying to impart this philosophy through his writing and his work.Thank you very much for reading my review, I hope it was helpful.

Super easy to follow and use. Awesome book!

I ordered this book then waited a few months to read it because honestly I was dreading SEO...but when I was finally desperate enough to read it I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a very easy read, and very thorough!This is a great first book for anyone learning SEO. I am now implementing Will's strategies in the blueprint he lays out at the end of the book. I emailed him with a question and he answered with a video demonstrating what he was talking about, which felt above and beyond. Loved it.I will say that as a person working a full time job and trying to do the SEO stuff on the side, it has been a slower process to get the steps done than I would have hoped. If you have more time to devote to it it will likely go faster for you.What I would like now is an updated version, since the book was written in 2018 - it might be that all the strategies still apply, but I want to make sure I know all I can about the current world of SEO. Regardless, this book was well worth it and I really wish I had read it as soon as I decided to start a business.

First, let me say that if you stumbled across this book on Kindle Unlimited as I did, BUY THE PAPERBACK! I would’ve done so regardless, but you’ll get access to Will’s video tutorials which are extremely helpful. The book itself is very well written - Will is able to take a topic that is far from riveting and make it interesting and easy to understand. His writing style is colorful and humorous - I laughed out loud several times, something I’ve never, ever done while reading a business related book. I loved it - it’s my favorite, by far, in both style and content! :)If you consider SEO a subject that seems like a tedious, extensive undertaking, fear no more. In the first few chapters, Will explains exactly what Search Engine Optimization is and why it is so unbelievably important, then he breaks it down in a way that even someone with zero experience in SEO can quickly learn and master. As soon as I began reading this book, I realized that virtually all of my assumptions about SEO were wrong. To use a quote from Chapter 3, albeit a bit differently, “I didn’t know what I didn’t know.” Specifically, instead of placing SEO at the end of my list of priorities, it should have been at the top - if I’d had this book when I started my company, it would have saved me a SIGNIFICANT amount of both time and money!Fortunately, I was at least familiar with all of the SEO elements Will thoroughly breaks down in the book and he’s right - they will increase your ranking. As with anything, however, you’re only going to get out of it what you put into it. It reminds me of working out - if you’re patient and diligent, you will eventually get the results you want. If you go to the gym sporadically for a few weeks and then quit, however, you’ll waste your time and look exactly the same. In short, you can get to number one on Google (or very close to it) if you apply Will’s method correctly and stick with it, something he repeatedly stresses in the book.I can’t thank Will enough for sharing his experience and expertise. It is obvious that he loves what he does and truly wants to help others succeed. This is reflected not only in his book and on his website, but in his personal approach. I emailed him with a question and not only did he respond right away, he followed up several more times. This level of commitment and dedication goes far beyond simply selling a book - it’s clearly a personal ethos.I look forward to writing an update in a few weeks to share my amazing progress. And I literally can’t stress this enough...BUY THIS BOOK!!! :)
