FrontierNatural Products Anise Star Select Whole, 0.64-Ounce

The stars in this product are good-sized, mostly whole, and flavorful. I float a star in my hot toddy and tea for a little hint of flavor, and one star will flavor my drinks for multiple days. This one may seem a little pricier, but compared to the other brand I have used, the quality is top notch and since it lasts for several uses the value is good.

The aroma is otherworldly awesome! You only need two whole star anise because they are fresh and the flavor will surprise you with awesomeness. Goes well with chicken, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, wine, ginger, dash of sugar and premium soya sauce. Delivery and packaging is great. Thank you.

I use these in food and crafts. Smells nice in a "simmering spice pot" in the fall! Much cheaper than the grocery store and more whole ones that the most expensive brand.

This little jar packed a huge punch of aroma, the stars were intact and the smell is unbelievable. I drink water with lemon and add these stars for a wonderful aniseed taste and know that it is very healthy. One star will last a week or more. I will definitely order from this company again. This is a high quality product with superior taste and smell.

I break some of the stars off and make tea. It definitely has flavor and last awhile. If you are in a pinch and need to order star anise from Amazon. Get this one

The product was packed pretty tight inside the jar so pieces couldn't move around much increasing the chances of breakage; however, the jar was filled with mostly broken pieces. Only three were not broken and one of those had a missing spoke. I needed whole stars for photographing. Very disappointed that there weren't more whole stars.

just has a really good flavor to it I added it to some hot sauce and it give it a nice flavor

Very pleased with the aroma of this spice and the packaging in a jar to keep it from getting broken. My first shipment did not arrive but Frontier Natural sent me a replacement as soon as I told them. Their customer service was great and speedy.
