Energy efficient
The string of five lights is energy efficient. It only takes 56 to 60 watts of power to light the whole string. Perfect for what I need it for.It is also really bright. The picture shows how it is lit. If not, my whole yard is pitch black.

Absolutely awesome lights and extremely durable!
The media could not be loaded. My house was flooded in Kenner, La September 11 from hurricane Francine. I’m a chef by day and work on my house at night. I purchased the 100’ set to put in my attic to run new duct and electrical work. Talk about bright!! So now I’m using them outside at night to cut baseboards and frame work. They definitely do not disappoint! I have dropped them from 8’ and they didn’t even blink. The pass 2 weeks they have been outside through 1 severer thunderstorm. They got banged around a lot and still work like a charm!

Better than expected
We don't have lighting in our barn, so I purchased these with the hope of at least minimum light. The length made it a challenge to run through the rafters, but it also allowed the light to be spread out evenly. When finished the light was amazing, there is nothing we can't do in there with how well it is lite up.

Circuit on one light literally exploded. Another developed a dead-short and threw the breaker.
Originally, I was pretty happy with the lights. We had a crawlspace encapsulation to do and we strung them up. The little clips that are fixed to the top proved to be junk right out of the box. The springs failed and they refused to close. It did not affect the lights. Once in place, they provided plenty of light. About a week into the job, the first light in the string literally had a small explosion and quit working. It was a clear day, so I could not blame it on lightning. I found the plastic cage that went around it a few feet away and, in the other direction I found the globe with holes melted in it. We continued using them. A few weeks later, they went out again, and tripped the breaker in the house. The extension was hot to the touch as was the cord connecting the lights. We felt the cord for warmth and traced the heat to one of the lights near the middle of the set. I pried the globe off and it was cooked like the other. I took out all of the screws and found the hot and neutral wires had fused causing a dead-short. Now that is dangerous! I am not really great with electronics, but I did manage to cut the fused wires and tape it up so we could finish the job. For a $100, I was expecting a little better. I would pass on these and look for something that is UL listed. Three pictures are the unit that exploded. Four are of the unit that fused together.

easy to use
The material of the product is quite good, it doesn't get hot after being used for a long time, and the heat dissipation is very good. The light intensity is also ok, very bright. It's not very bulky, and it's still very light to hang up. Water resistance is no problem either. A great tool for temporary lighting.

Good Commercial Temp Lighting
Bought test set for a 8,000 sqft crawl space undergoing construction. These are heavy duty and we will probably leave them in place (un plugged) for future use. Ordered 3 more sets. Only complaint is getting they unravelled out of the box was a pain.
