I love my dyson hot cool fan, but unfortunately my toddler also loves the remote to it, and that thing is tiny and easily lost and hidden. This backup remote is perfect. It looks and works identical to the one that came with the fan. It does not come with a battery so you have to buy your own, but it’s a tiny inconvenience compared to how useful it has been to have this extra remote. If you have the Dyson hot cool fan and children who love remotes, this is a necessity.

The description says its compatible with hot + cool purifying dyson fan. I have that fan. I put in a fresh battery into the remote and it does not work for me. Either remote is malfunctioning or its not compatible with my fan. I'm disappointed either way. The remote itself has nice rubber buttons and constructed nicely.

I love my Dyson fan but... the little remote gets lost all the time! I ordered this when I had lost it one time! I found the original again but now I can always make sure I know where one is! It works perfectly as expected!

I lost my remote and found out you can actually control the temperature on the Dyson itself by holding the power button. But I still wanted to control the speed and the rotation so a remote is a must. This remote uses a cr2032 battery so be prepared to buy one of those. It actually worked "plug and play" and controlled my Dyson fan without any need to sync them or anything. Works just like the original remote.
