This kit has worked perfectly to power my dash cam. I loved that it came with all the different types of fuses to make sure that one was compatible with my vehicle. The ease of installation was pretty easy and I don’t know how it could be improved on their end as it would be very vehicle specific. I installed it on a 2012 Camry and was not too difficult for me. Decent value for money. Would recommend.

My parents got me a really nice dash cam for Christmas so I wanted the security of having it record round the clock. After researching a little bit, this wiring kit is what I came to. My dad, who spent a good part of his life as an electronics technician was really impressed at its functionality and how easy it was to install. It works great and in his words, "that was a really smart purchase". We're both impressed. "Two snaps up (in a Z-formation)"!

This might not work for parking sensor mode, there is no third wire for this. I wasn't using it for that purpose. I located an empty fuse that only has power when the engine is on. This works very well for what I bought it for. This was the second dash cam I had hard wired myself and it was very easy. Chris Fix has a video on using kits like this one. Clean install, liked a lot that it came with trim tool.

This Yansoo hard cable kit with USB-C connector seemed to me an excellent solution to power my dashboard camera in a cleaner and more professional way. The installation was quite simple, and I liked that it came with a fuse adapter for different types of vehicles. The cable length is adequate, the voltage regulator does its job and allows recording in parked mode without draining the car battery. In addition, it reassured me to know that it has protection against low voltage. Highly recommended if you want a fixed and more discreet installation for your dashcam or USB-C device.

Worked twice. I found a suitable fuse, plugged it in and tested it on the Wolfbox camera. Everything was fine. I tucked the cord into the trim and then fired up the truck and parked it. Camera came on as it should that time. The next time we drove the truck was a week later. No worky. Tested the plug. 12v at the plug. Tested the ground screw (OEM ground used by fusebox). Good ground... so this failed. I plugged my Wolfbox power cord in and the camera came on. Not bothering to return it... I spent the time to tuck that cord in well enough I don't even want to remove it until I put a new one in.... and with my work schedule it might be a couple more weeks before I can get to it.

I recently ordered and received a Dash Cam for my car, and I decided I wanted to have it hard wired. I ordered this wiring kit as it claims to be universal. I took my vehicle to a local shop to have the Dash Cam installed. They had never installed the brand of camera I had purchased, and they have never used this particular wiring kit, but they said the install went smoothly and they were done quicker than they had estimated. My Dash Cam works great, they did a great job in hiding the wiring so no cables are visible. I would highly recommend this cable if you want to hard wire your Dash Cam in your vehicle.

Works as intended but the fuse tap wouldn't fit into my fuse box I had to shave plastic off the tap to make it fit but once I did it went in fine and remains secure Other than that it works great.. came with multiple fuse taps for different kinds of fuses. I'd buy this again if needed, the modification was simple enough and the price is good.
