Olight manufaters many light beams, and the item and the packaging is top notch. The special charger makes not ideal as it is not available of the shelf like USB c wires, but the magnetic charging spot justifys the choice. If you don't lose it then there is no issue.

I really like the build quality of the light, it has a great battery life and is very powerful. I mean real powerful, if you flash it on someone it would cause temporary blindness. Will be ordering the other model aswell the one with the laser.

4-1/2 stars. I love the light.The good-Multiple brightness settings remembers the last setting. Plus, the Turbo mode is every bit the 1000 lumens advertised.The shape and size and weight. It feels like a sturdy pocket knife and sort of shaped like one. So it fits in my front pocket just like my knife. I don't feel it when I'm driving or working and I don't feel like I'm going to break it if I drop it.The battery indicator. So simple yet so useful. The battery indicator for any other light I've ever had was a dim light.Black light. Unless you have a need for it, it's probably just a useless gadget. But for me it's a necessity. It's a reasonable intensity and good enough to chase leaksNotible-The belt clip has two directions which allows you to clip the light to the brim of your hat and use it as a head lamp.The bad-The lock feature is too cumbersome and automatically resets the brightness to the lowest setting upon unlocking. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but either way I would have preferred a mechanical lock, like a slide switch on the side, over the same button as the settings button. - 1/4 star for that.The charger-For me it's annoying to have to keep a specific charger for each tool or gadget I own. While the magnetic charger is great, it's just another tool specific charger that I have to make sure I keep with me. I would have loved to see a usb-C option.That said, the light seems to hold a charge for a very long time, so it may not be that big of a problem. -1/4 starAll in all, worth every penny. It's a high quality light made by the same folks a lot of us trust with lights on our firearms.

I bought this because I was tired of fumbling for my phone light. It's so handy, I use it several times per day now, even just walking through the house without touching wall switches.USE - The UV mode is fantastic for making maggots glow—I'll spare you the squirmy details, but if you're in the farm or veterinary business, you NEED this light. I also use the UV light to read set lists (white paper / black ink) on dark stages; the paper is plain as day at my feet, but the audience can't even tell there's a light on. I've never seen the battery meter dip below full and I only top it off for a few minutes once a week or so. The strobe function isn't bright enough or accessible enough to blind an assailant but it does get your attention from a distance. The magnetic charger snaps on so easily and firmly, I wish it were the standard for every USB charged device.LOOK AND FEEL - The orange metallic finish is just beautiful, and makes it easy to find in the dark. It does look like a vape pen (see photo: orange light, red vape pen), so be prepared to explain from time to time. The light feels solid. The aluminum smooth on top with textured sides for a better grip. The switch and button feel like they'll last forever, and the metal clip is sturdy, working great as both a pocket clip and a hat clip, although on a baseball cap it does feel a bit heavy.COMPLAINT - The LED on the charging cable is too bright in a dark room. It stays bright green even when there's no flashlight connected. If you're sensitive to lights when sleeping, you'll need to unplug it or cover it with something. I'm going to try blacking it out with a Sharpie to at least dim it.Overall, I'm very happy with this light. The size is perfect, the battery life is more than I need, and it's become a permanent part of my EDC kit—I feel naked without it. I've been recommending this to everyone I see wielding pen lights or fumbling with their phone lights.

If I were to only rate the attributes of the light itself, I would give this a 5 star rating. However, I have ordered two of these rather pricey lights only to loose them both. The main factor is the clip for your belt or pocket is flimsy and weak. The clip bends very easily making it extremely easy to fall out of your pocket. I like the design with a belt/pocket clip with another smaller clip built in to attach to your cap. Great Idea but the bendability of the main clip and having to replace this twice really dampers my opinion of this product. With that being said the white light options are great, power consumption is good overall weight and feel is perfect for an edc carry light. I purchased the UV option to help track blood trails in the dark while hunting. both the UV and white light are excellent for this. If the manufacturer would make the belt clip sturdier this would hands down be my all time go to light. As is I will probably look for another manufacturer with a similar product. I just can't afford to replace these every 6 months because it falls out of my pocket and I loose it. If you don't use the belt/pocket clip this is a great buy but if you plan on carrying it in your picket or on your belt just know that the clip will not last and then you are out the cost of this light.

I have carried an EDC light for rears now, my last light was a copper i5R EOS by O-Light. With my new job I have to travel a lot and was looking for a UV flashlight be it for checking hotel rooms, or when sent out to desert areas to check for scorpions. When I stumbled on the Arkfeld UV it seemed like a perfect fit, UV when I need it, and a normal flashlight for all the other times in one reasonably small package.Pros:- 365nm UV is useful for many things, from checking hotel rooms for cleanliness, looking for scorpions, checking for UV dye when working on automotive systems, or just general fun- UV light is powerful! It is a 580mW UV LED, not the MOST powerful that is out there, but far more so than many other UV lights I have tried out perfectly acceptable especially when in this little EDC package- intuitive simple design that slips into the pocket nicely and doesn't get in the way- water resistance seems on point, although I haven't dropped it in water it has been soaked with just about every fluid that a car can hold and works perfectly!- Strobe mode is a triple tap! NO NEED TO CYCLE THROUGH IT! I hate having to cycle through strobe mode to get to the normal modes, I actually prefer my EDC to not have them at all, but the way this is set up it doesn't get in the way of normal operation at all.- magnetic back has been super useful along with the ability to clip the light to a hat bill to make a sort of head lampCons:- non replaceable battery (not a deal breaker, but I do certainly miss the ability to swap from the rechargeable to a standard AA in the last light I carried if I needed juice in the light right then and didn't have time or resources to charge it)- proprietary charger. This may or may not be a deal breaker for you. It uses the O-Light magnetic charger. It is a convenient way to charge and if you need the light quickly you can grab it and go without bothering actually pulling a cable out of it since it will pull right off. If you have other o-lights that use this charging system, probably not at all a big deal, if not, it is certainly something to heavily consider when weighing options!Overall. 10/10 on this light! Absolutely love it and have found just about all of the features extremely useful in an EDC light. The price is reasonable for what all this offers and I couldn't recommend it enough!

Never heard of this company. After some research, I bought their gun light. I was impressed. I was looking for an EDC light & saw this. I wanted something that was easy to carry, not bulky or round. I love the color. It covers all needs. 5 light levels, amazing battery life & it’s just sexy as hell. Easy to conceal. Comfortable in my pocket. The only downside is it requires their charger, & it’s different than the gun light charger. The clip is doubled. Allowing securement & can be reversed for a hat, as designed, or a long shirt sleeve. Yeah, that was a brain fart, but a major win. You can use the double clip to secure to your sleeve & light up everything you touch. I was hesitant by price, but definitely satisfied. Love it.
