Good as expected
Love it. Not much I can say about it. Oh, wish they did this paper in white colour as this one is more cream. Nevertheless, good paper.

Excellent for portrait work in graphite.. I had been using the bristol smooth and although this is smoothish it doesn't leave the lines and has more texture and will take a little adjusting. But recommend it for portrait realism if that's what you're wanting to achieve. Also good for polychromos

not like other hot pressed
not like other hot pressed, where its got no grip to it whatsoever - the surface is smooth but not slippy.I would however say that it absolutely soaks up the water within milliseconds! very little room for error with this one - I have seen others sway that Arches hot pressed is not the best hot pressed out there, unlike their cold pressed. Will try another brand.
