This Oughnoh RC Airplane is a lot of fun to fly. It's the simplest kind of rc airplane control system, which is the differential thrust system. There are two motors that control everything in terms of up, down, yaw, and pitch. I was able to hand launch it into a light wind with no problem on the first and subsequent tries. It's very lightweight and the foam is strong. The kit includes several replacement parts and three main batteries. That's a lot of flight time included in the package.This is a great beginner's plane, especially for those having flown quads before. Of course, there is no hovering or static position holding with a plane which makes for a fun time trying to keep the plane out of neighbors' fenced yards. It requires a fair bit of open space to fly and it performs best in low or now wind. It is fun to "surf" the wind currents though, at the edge of its performance capabilities.I enjoy this plane as an experienced quadcopter pilot with some airplane experience. These small planes are very easy to fly and don't cost a lot to fix, and really don't break as easily as large expensive planes. This particular plane is a good looking, fun flying toy. It comes with plenty of extras and most will find it to be reasonably easy to pick up. The key is not to go H.A.M. on the throttles. Go easy and adjust smoothly, and the flight will match your inputs more or less. I would buy or give as a gift, it's good.
