Had to spend a week flattening out the second LP because it was packaged squished. There was a plastic wrap around the record box which squished half of the LP against the other, which is standard. However, the gap in the middle for opening the box, to view the inside graphic, caused the LP to warp.Other than that, the box is cool and sounds great.

How do you follow up Good Kid M.A.A.D City and To Pimp A Butterfly when the former was easily the best rap album of the year and latter is arguable the best of the decade?This is how. With an album which manges to be simultaneously lyrically and conceptually dense yet accessible and re-playable. DAMN follows themes of duality and inner conflict throughout the album, with tracks like Pride and Humble, Love and Lust, Fear and God. Kendrick's lyrics are introspective and delivered in his many voices over a series of brilliantly produced tracks.Stand out songs include D.N.A, Element, Fear, XXX, and Duckworth.

Title pretty much says it all really, great album, definitely one of my favourites which I've been listening to for a while through streaming, but felt the urge to buy the cd. I like having physical copies so for me it's great and a good price.

Very original to most Rappers out there I feel and coming from a different angles than most which is refreshing.

Good kid maad city = brilliant, to pimp a butterfly = worse album i have ever bought and heard i actually snapped the CD (true story) it was awful so I was worried about buying this.......so glad I did just the 1st 30 seconds of the 1st song is better than the WHOLE butterfly album and it goes on from there with great delivery, beats and production you can turn the volume up to get that proper rap concert feeling and it sounds sweet. Well done Kendrick

It took me while to get into this album, I couldn't really see what all the hype was about, but when it did finally kick in after several run throughs, oh my what an album! the production quality is exceptional and the writing incredible from a hip hop artist truely on top of his game, the more you analyze it, the better it gets and hearing it on vinyl in my opinion makes it all the more special. Best thing I've heard in a long while

I find it hard it hard to beat Good Kid Mad City but this album comes real close. Best track in my eyes is Element closely followed by D. N. A. Minimal guests on the album but kendrick does not need support as all you want to do is listen to his rhymes and lyrics and no one else's. Beats are so crisp and on point also.
