Clean smelling makeup remover, cleansing balm!
This cleansing balm comes in a glass jar, which is nice. The first thing I noticed when opening the jar is that it does not have a fragrance, that is what I wanted. The balm itself is thick and creamy, melting easily into my hands and fingers. That makes it easier to spread on the skin. However the thing that makes it spread so nicely is also a problem because that means that it stays longer on the skin, which can be nice but also a problem if you have combination skin that leans more to the leans more to the oily side than dry.If you have more dry skin than the moisturizing aspect of this balm will be just what your skin needs. It is a real treat in moisturizing, while cleaning your skin. I definitely recommend it and have been enjoying using this balm.

Feels luxurious on the skin, especially on dry or sensitive skin
I have been using cream cleansers (the type in a pot - cold cream, Pond's, Jergen's, etc.) and homemade oil cleansers (used with a hot rag) for about 10 years so I am no stranger to the change in routine from foaming or soap based cleansers to oil based. This is only the second cleansing balm I've tried, and so far I really like it. The balm is about the texture shortening, but melts almost instantly like coconut oil. This helps you control how much you scoop out of the jar, rub between your hands, apply to your face, and then scoop out more if needed, such as for days when you are wearing more makeup or need to remove dirt and dust. It does remove eye makeup but try not to rub your eyes as cleansers like this can leave an oily film on your eyes that is hard to remove and simply has to wear off.It feels SOOO good when applied and massaged. Close your eyes, give your skin a nice massage, and just relax. I wipe it off with a makeup eraser cloth or paper face towel, then put a hot damp cloth on my face for a few seconds and then wipe off a final time. It leaves my skin feeling very supple and soothed, not like the tight, dry feeling that soap cleansers can produce. My skin was smooth to the touch without residue or a greasy feeling. One caveat - I've found that oil cleansers don't do a good job of removing waterproof sunscreen. For those, I do an initial wash with my oil cleanser and then use as little foaming/soap cleanser as possible for a second wash. The packaging box looked torn at first but then I realized it was simply an innovative packaging solution. The box unfolds and has instructions printed inside on the full surface area of the cardboard. I like this instead of having a separate leaflet or trying to cram instructions into microscopic print on one side of the box. Very cool!

Not perfect.
I've been using this cleansing balm and I'm quite impressed. It's fragrance-free and comes in a nice glass jar, feeling luxurious. The texture is creamy and melts smoothly onto my skin, though it can linger longer than expected on my oily areas. It's excellent for hydrating dry spots and removes makeup effectively. However, it stings if it gets in my eyes and struggles a bit with waterproof makeup. Despite being pricier, a little goes a long way, making it a solid choice for gentle, moisturizing cleansing.

Burns my eyes
The ingredients are good & are favorable on Yuka however, burns & irritates my eyes big time for the rest of the day. It does a great job on removing makeup & my skin is soft with hydration. Will not purchase again unless they change something to a non irritating to the eyes formula

Melts the makeup away!
This is a great makeup remover. I actually like it better than any liquid makeup remover I have ever used. It's a solid balm while in the container but when applied to the face, it becomes oily and just melts the makeup away, including waterproof makeup. After that, I wipe it all off with a face towel and then wash my face with my facial cleanser and continue with my facial routine. A little goes a long way so this container will last me for a while.

Very heavy and greasy
I was excited to try a new cleanser and maker up remover. I’ve only ever used foaming face washes. It comes in a nicely packaged box and is in a pretty blue plastic tub. The consistency is that of Vaseline except for a little thicker. I wasn’t sure if I was to use it on my eye makeup as well as my face but I decided to try and it didn’t do a great job on my mascara or eye liner. After the initial use, I’ve used it only on my face. After I wash the product off, my face is left with a greasy feeling. I use a toner after and I don’t see a lot of makeup on my cotton pad. It must do a good job of getting the makeup off but I don’t like the greasy feeling I’m left with. I’ve also noticed an increase in breakouts over the past few weeks so I nervous it’s a result of adding this cleanser to my skin care regimen.I won’t repurchase in the future. It may be great for people with dryer skin, but my skin was too sensitive for this product.

Good for a double cleanse
I normally use a liquid oil cleanser during my double cleanse, but this is way less messy. It's solid, but soft and it melts easily. It's great at removing any makeup. It doesn't emulsify quite as well as some other products I've used, but I don't feel greasy after following up with my usual foam cleanser. I feel like it cleans as well as my usual oil, it's just a fair bit pricier, so I'll use it sparingly.
