Trace works well to identify plaque. My only complaint is that it stains towels and sinks, etc. It's a bit messy for children so let them use under your supervision. After a few days it does come out. This however is the same as over the counter products that do the same thing. The quantity for the money is excellent.

My kids can't deny anymore how well they brushed their teeth! The only way to get the pink off is to brush and brush well!!!

I got this for my 5 year old, to help him learn to brush his own teeth. He had been happily using another brand of chewable tablets, and I thought this liquid might be easier to deal with (and cover the teeth better), but he could not stand the taste. Tossed this in the garbage.

Good for cleaning youngsters' teeth.

Works wonders

This liquid form of the disclosing tablet some may be used to, should be applied with a q-tip or cotton swab. The product works, it is just being applie wrong by the nagative reviewers. Also, the mouth should be cleared of saliva as much as possible for the product to adhere to the teeth for best results.
