FISTE Waterproof Junction Box Outdoor Cable Connector 2 Pack External Sleeve Coupler, Cable Range Ø 1-13 mm (Black, 2/3 Pole, IP68, PVC)

The specs show this is submersible to 30m. It got upset at 3cm. It was constructed as per the instructions with the right size & type of cable, all neat & tidy. Water still got in. It took a while, but it got there. That was only 1 of 4 connectors that leaked, but they all used the same cables, put together in the same way and appeared identical after construction.So I'm a little wary of them Fortunately, RCDs are wonderful things.Marked as 3* as I can't be 100% sure it wasn't me (although I do have a degree in electrical engineering so am not clueless in this area) -but- it still appears better than anything else I've found at being waterproof/portable. There's one with a green rubbery bit rather than red which feels a little more solid, but it's the same manufacturer - the 'to 50m' model - so I'd trust that to 5cm. I have a 'T' of those and that hasn't leaked yet...

Had expected a three pin connection inside the unit rather than terminals so a little more fiddly if working up a ladder.That said product quality is good and very good value for a 2 pack

Very small bits and hard to work with

Not great quality vs some I bought two years ago, they were EU made. The seals are not great and you need to take care to get a proper seal after connecting a cable.

Brilliant product. This Torch is very robust and well made. It is also alot brighter I’d expected.

Did the job. Is underwater so time will tell!
