It really works!
If you follow the instructions, changing the water every 2-3 days, filling to the proper level, making sure the butter is soft (not too soft), and getting the air pockets out when packing it, it works great! The butter stays soft and fresh. It also looks great sitting on the counter, unlike some of the other cheap looking eye sores I've seen.

Perfect fit!
I just got this today and unboxed it. The lid fits the base perfectly. I can't wait to put butter in it!!!

I’ve always wanted a butter bell. This one is beautiful! I like the way it sits on the table with the part that holds the butter inside the bottom.
