Thirsti Smart Water Hydration Tracking device

Unfortunately I have to give this one star, as nowhere in the product description does it mention that it works on IOS only and not Android. I still love the idea, but since there is no Android app I am having to return this item. Very disappointing. Hopefully the description will be updated so other buyers do not make the same mistake.

I feel I need to write two reviews for this product. First let me talk about the puck. It's brilliant, does exactly what I expected it to do. I put it my bottle and it records how much I have drank and even knows when I refill the bottle midday. If I was just reviewing that, I'd give it 5 stars and buy one for my wife/mother/anyone who I feel needs to drink more water. Unfortunately I now have to talk about the app! 1 star at best for that. If you have an iPhone X or better, then you will not have the full use of the app. I believe there is a information bar at the bottom of the app that tells you such things as the water temperature and puck location. Unfortunately I can't see it on my phone. The bar is cut off. The app also sporadically reverts back to tutorial mode, so it starts to show me all the buttons and gives me a little animation of how to use the puck! This has happened about 10 times now. Once it starts it can't be stopped until it's gone through the tutorial! But that's not the worst of it. It doesn't sync to Apple Health! All the information regarding water consumption is only available in the app. It's still useful but it would be several times better if it could share that information. I've looked at their social media and nothing seems to have been updated for over a year. It seems such a shame as the device is perfect, they just need to fix the software.

if you follow what the app tutorial says,it will work great! i like the freedom of tracking my water consumption with any water bottle i want! it needs 6-10 seconds to update every sip you drink and the water temperature function is also great. To work perfectly you need to leave the phone app open in the background!

I love the idea of this, however I think think the technology definitely needs improvement, it has not proved to be 100% accurate all the time with regards to recording the amount I've drunk. Also the 'Puck' requires a bluetooth connection to an IOS device and sometime when refilling my bottle the Puck won't pick up that I have filled my bottle, so I have to check my phone, make sure the blue tooth connection is reestablished and fill my bottle again until the 'Puck" flashes to notify me that it has detected that my bottle has been refilled, which unfortunately I do not have time to do every time I want to fill my bottle.

Unfortunately it is not compatible with Android, so I will have to return the product.

A great product to help me track how much water i'm drinking. I always forget to drink enough water and this really helped.

Very hard to set up deffo not ten seconds... keeps not calibration the device in the bottle then you drink some water and it deffo don’t sync to the device gonna uninstall and try again after two hours of messing if that don’t work sending them back #nothappy

I suffer from migraines and by the time I feel dehydrated it’s too late - the migraine has started. This product is great! I need reminding to stop, drink and keep ahead of dehydration. Anyone who has a busy job and forgets to drink needs this! I can’t belive this was slammed on Dragons Den as a useles invention. I rate it for preventing headaches and migraines. Good for those who want to look after their skin as well.
