Brilliant design, good instructions
So grandma put this together before gifting and I learned why my son was so happy. It did take me an hour with adding the stickers and organizing the hanging tools. Whoever designed this is brilliant! The instructions show put up and take down so the pieces actually fit in the carry case. The hardest part was putting the stickers on. There are no instructions so the only way to know what to do is to look at the pictures except...no pictures from the back so all stickers are not shown. A few go on the "top" side of the case and a few go on the "bottom" side. It would be so nice to have sticker notes added to the put up portion of the instructions. For example, the large tool box outer label needs to go on the bottom of the shelf after the unit is assembled. That means you have to turn it upside down after you have just put all the tools on the top. Or, putting the labels on the two upper bins before putting them on to make lining them up easier. The saw makes saw noises without a battery. Pretty cool. The electric screwdriver needs 2 batteries and spins at a slow speed so no injuries. It is sturdy once put together. There are lots of extra screws to play with.I took a few parts off and packaged in a big box. It was easy with a little tug/push to take them apart. If you follow the take down instructions it fits right back into the box. I really love that you can pack it up. My son shuffles toys in and out of the living space so being able to break this down to store really makes it a keeper. With all the stickers attached set up is less the 15 minutes. Amazing design!

Fun
What a great gift for kids. This tool set keeps my munchkin busy for hours. He likes to hang out with his dad in the shop, and now he has his own (kids) tools. This set is so fun! It comes in its own case that folds out and becomes its own stand. It has 83 peace’s. It comes with stickers and a vest. The stand it’s nice and sturdy and the tools look realistic. When he’s all done playing you can put it all back into the case and put it away.

Fun toy with a few problems
This was a fun toy that I helped my 4.5 yr old put together. It took less than 20 minutes and was something child could help with. (But definitely not do independently). We have used other "build a truck" type toys to assemble, and this one felt slightly less sturdy but still allows the same type of play.My 4-yr-old seemed a little too big for the size. He will still play with it, but I think it would be particularly fun for a child 18-mo - 3 yr old. The toy isn't all that tall once assembled. The drill runs on batteries, and the table saw makes a whirring noise when you pull it down. That was a fun surprise for my child. There is a page of instructions-- one side shows how to assemble, the other side shows how to disassemble it back into a briefcase. I like that it can be contained and put away for toy rotation.Once assembled, I think it's best for open play. There are several included items that don't have anything specific to do with them. (ie: a few pieces of wood that you can just bang on, they don't fit into any holes, etc.) There are open holes on the table that you can drill into. There's an oil can.Cons:-There are two different types of screws. But the instructions don't differentiate between the two, and you're only following tiny pictures. It's not rocket science to figure it out, but it would be nice to have slightly more clear instructions. (Like Ikea instructions, which label the parts and list parts used in each step.)-The yellow vest would be a really cute touch, except it's an adult XL size for a child. It came to my son's ankles. He didn't seem bothered, but I doubt I'll hold onto it in our dress-up items because the adults in our house don't plan on dressing up.-The speed of the drill is pretty slow, and my 4 yr old had a hard time pressing 'up' or 'down' on the handle button to spin it right or left.*note: there are stickers that come with this item-- they aren't placed yet in the photos.
