Took a chance on this and wish I wouldve just gotten the LG I thought about. Monitor is useless after less than 90 days. 1/2 of the screen lighting is out so half the screen looks fine and half is dim. EMailed the manufacturer and they were extremely slow to respond. Finally said they would refund but I havent heard from them in days and they never provided return info or anything.AVOID THIS BRAND!!!Update: KTC Never responded to my emails but did of course respond to my negative review. They keep sayign its Amazon that needs to refund my money even though its out of the 30 day return window for Amazon.Terrible company, Terrible customer service. AVOID!!!

The media could not be loaded. This monitor delivers incredible 4K HDR performance with a high refresh rate, and it’s a great fit for those with powerful GPUs. I tested it on both my laptop (RTX 3070) and desktop (RTX 4060Ti 16GB), and the experience on the desktop was exceptional. Games in 4K HDR at 160Hz look incredibly vibrant, smooth, and detailed.The monitor feels premium and well-made. It’s quite heavy, which adds to the sense of quality, and the design is sleek and modern. It comes with all the necessary cables — USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort — which makes setup simple and hassle-free.I did encounter an issue, though. The monitor had trouble waking up from sleep mode, often failing to reconnect and leaving the screen blank. To fix this, I either had to restart the monitor manually or disable sleep mode entirely. After reaching out to KTC support, they suggested turning off DSC (Display Stream Compression) to resolve the issue.For context, DSC is a feature that allows high-bandwidth signals, like 4K at 160Hz, to pass through more efficiently by compressing the data without noticeable loss. Disabling DSC did fix the sleep mode issue, but I noticed a clear drop in image quality — the colors were less vibrant, and the overall sharpness wasn’t the same. To keep the best picture quality, I re-enabled DSC and decided to disable sleep mode instead. This setup has been working perfectly for me.KTC’s support team was responsive and assured me they are looking into the issue. I hope they’ll release a firmware update to fix it in the future.Despite this, the monitor delivers an amazing experience. The HDR visuals, smooth refresh rates, and vibrant colors make it a fantastic choice for gaming or creative work. If you’re aware of the sleep mode quirk and adjust your settings accordingly, it’s a great monitor that’s worth considering.

I will definitely buy from ktc again, this gaming monitor is great , I owned msi and lg and for the money this monitor beats every single gaming monitor out there I was afraid of the build quality but it actually really good and the unboxing was 10/10 .The bad thing:It has too much ips glow,I hope it will get better after time of use.Local dimming is not that good it will be better if it has more than 576 dimming.hdr are good but I think oled would do better.I highly recommend this company.Edit: after using the monitor for about 2 weeks now unfortunately I can't enable local dimming while I'm using gsync .If using the monitor in sdr only it looks just like any other non mini led monitor.Edit : I manage to find solution to make this monitor looks great, I updated the firmware to cooler master gp27u which works as well "doing this on your own risk" the latest firmware from cooler master has been fixed almost every issue, local dimming works with gsync and now I can turn on local dimming or using hdr all the time with no issues and picture quality has been way much better than the stock firmware.

TLDR this thing has an amazing picture and while I had it looked fantastic. Unfortunately I had to send it back because it STILL has issues that you can find if you google this part number. It will RANDOMLY go to a black screen for about 5 seconds. There isn't any setting you can change either on the monitor nor on Nvidia drivers (Newest for my 4070 Super) that will fix this. There is even a suggestion on reviews here but that doesn't work either. I can literally be watching a video or staring at a spreadsheet and the screen will go black for no reason. This happened 3 times yesterday within a 15 min window. It has happened every single day I have had this monitor (just over a week). And you can forget about getting their support to help you. Good luck. I sent 6 emails to get 2 responses. 1 to tell me I already had the latest firmware, which isn't true, and another apologizing for not responding to my response and NOT answering the questions I had for them. No thanks. No more KTC for me.
